View Full Version : Help please
Whenever i try to watch anything on Sopcast (or tvu) i get a messege saying internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. Can anyone help?
This could be your problem:
Close your browser and everything , search on your PC for everything called "Sopcast" and delete it. Everything. Then install TVU and Sopcast again and it will work.
There's probably an old Sopcast version somewhere causing your problem ;)
Alas, its just the same. Thanks anyway
Still the same? I have had this problem before, and when removing all Sopcast and TVU files and installing it again it was solved for me. :o :?
tvu was ok until i installed the new sopcast. Now neither work
Maybe there's some better info in the faq of Sopcast:

I have the same problem, had an old version which worked fine, then I updated and now it crashed after few seconds.
I want to reinstall the old version but cant find it
Try to do a search on your pc for all files with Sopcast in it...
I´ve got the same problem and have got it since version 5 (?), none of the newer work. I´ve tried to remove all files but it doesnt work.
I had this with prob not with sopcast but pcast.. I had updated pcast and it would'nt work, found out that my firewall saw the update as new software and blocked it without asking.. so i had to make my firewall allow the new version, maybe same prob??
Thanks for the answers, I tried it but it still crashed after few seconds, so I reinstalled an older version which somehow works fine.
It has all the channels I need so its ok
