locked channels

Does anyone why some channels are locked? Where are you supposed to get the password form so you can put it in the pop-up window.

What I did to get on a locked channel was search the broadcasters name then go to one of there channels that are not locked and ask them on chat and they told me and I typed it in 1 problem with that is sometime the password is in korean.

You can block them as a streamer, and I'm sorry but you missed the point of it I guess:

*Afreeca has got streams from people itself
*Some people have got some pay channels or pay content which they don't want to stream to the public
*they make a blog or stream it for friends or subcribers only, and they put a pass on it.

So with the pass you can stream to friends only or in other ways.


At the end, there is no way to get the pass or you should know the owner or try untill you get in. Most likely it's a Korean pass which makes it only harder ;)

I knew some other p2p tv like sopcast have channels only for suscribers but I tought that the locked channels in afreeca might be something else.
What kind of content they stream so make it locked.Probably Alcaida have their channels there:))))

Don't know what it is, I would love to know it or to get in :o

I do see many locked football channels , maybe Adult content or just stuff which isn't allowed (black content) :P
