I have been watching p2p streams for as long as theyve been around(i think) and i rarely ask "silly" questions here, but my problem is that ive never gotten TVAnts to work properly. I get the picture and the sound quite quickly, but the problem is that it plays smoothly for about 30 seconds, and then starts buffering for 10 seconds, plays 30 seconds smoothly, the buffers again,. I have never been able to watch anything with TVAnts, as the most annoying thing in streams is the pauses caused by buffering.

I dont have WMP11, i have installed the "allow 50 connections"-thing but with no effect. There seems to be loads of good channels on TVAnts and i havent seen anyone complain about the same problems as me, so i must be doing something wrong! I have a 10M/10M connection, so for those wondering, my connection speed is hardly the problem.

Please help.....

Which channel is it? It might be just the channel which is slow and very busy, which could cause buffering for you.
Look into the channels tab, and on what kind of buffer does it stay? If it's around 50 you will experience buffering, if it's 75 - 90 it should run fine...

Every channel, and they do buffer to about 75-90 every time, still the stream wount run smoothly, EVER!

Today for example i tried to watch the Fulham-ManU game with the ESPN and the other(Sports 3? or something) link on the mainpage and neither ran smoothly for more than about 20 seconds.....Both reached a steady ~80% in the channels tab. Got fed up with it, and decided that ill just catch the game tomorrow when the someone has made a torrent, so dont spoil the result.....
