It depends on a number of things, does david villa want to join barca, his transfer fee (they have already rejected a 40 million euro bid from us last summer, will henry stay? will eto'o stay? will barca win trophies this season?
Many things depend if this transfer will go through or not, im afraid, but if he joined barca where would he play?

Hmmmm, that's a question.
But I really dont wanna he moves to City.
People says we have the ability to compete with City, but I dont think so.
And maybe Hiddink(or a future manager) may dont need him.:(

He can play as a winger.
If he cant move to us or Barca, then Id rather he stay in Valencia.

But if valencia have to sell him, he would join either real madrid or barcelona, he could replace raul in the future maybe? or henry?

To replace the injured van nistelrooy, I think it was a bad career move for him it would be better if he came to the premiership, to be honest, because when van nistelrooy returns he will stay on the bench, so maybe he will leave in the summer, because all he does for real madrid is to sit on the bench.

I think Villa will go to Liverpool or Spurs. Barca don't want him
Him and torres upfront for liverpool would be unstoppable I must admit, but I dont think he wants to leave spain.

OH! So bad for him. Real always buy a lot of football stars, then leave them on the bench!

Just hours after David Villa’s agent, Jose Luis Tamargo, revealed to Spanish daily AS that he was not happy that Valencia have been negotiating to sell their prized striker to Manchester City behind their backs, he has now told El Mundo Deportivo that his client has flatly refused to move to the Premier League.
“My client does not want to leave Spain. He was very clear on that,” Tamargo disclosed.
“I do not know what kind of contacts or talks Valencia have had with Manchester City, or if there has been any agreement yet, but my client’s future will remain in Spain, not abroad. It is not a question of money,” he elaborated, before going on to add that the striker is happy to remain at the Mestalla.
While Villa’s future may not be dependant on money, Los Che’s survival, on the other hand, very much does. The club board, including vice-president Fernando Gomez and their new CEO, Javier Gomez, (unrelated) appear to have conceded that they need to sell Villa and David Silva to fund the €75 million they reportedly need by July to pay off debts.
If ‘El Guaje’ is adamant that he wants to continue plying his trade in the Primera Division, then Real Madrid and Barcelona are the only two possible destinations. There have been reports that Villa had already reached a pre-agreement to join the Blaugrana next season, but the move will only go ahead if Samuel Eto’o leaves the Camp Nou.

Moving to Barca is always my first choice.
Barcelona have zoomed in on their prime target for the upcoming summer transfer window, and Valencia striker David Villa has moved to the top of the list ahead of Liverpool’s Fernando Torres and Lyon’s Karim Benzema.
Over the past few weeks, the Blaugrana had narrowed their striker search down to those three players in the event that they fail to secure Samuel Eto’o’s long-term future.
But according to Sport, both sporting director Txiki Begiristain and coach Pep Guardiola have come to the agreement that Villa fits the team profile more than Torres and Benzema, for various reasons.
Barca see ‘El Guaje’ as a more feasible and straightforward option, due mainly to Valencia’s urgent need of funds to help pay off immediate debts, and the fact that both clubs have maintained a healthy relationship in the past.
The signing of Torres, however, requires a more complex approach as the player himself has pledged his loyalty to Liverpool, while the Merseyside club are certain to vehemently repel any attempts to sign one of their most prized assets.
Benzema’s case, on the other hand, is almost all but closed as the 21-year-old has revealed that he intends to remain at Lyon for one more year and will not consider leaving the Stade Gerland until after the 2009-10 campaign.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta has already given the green light to accelerate talks to sign Villa. It has been documented that the Catalan giants and Los Che reached a pre-agreement back in December to transfer the striker to the Camp Nou for next season if Eto’o does decide to leave.
Villa himself has previously maintained that he will not leave Spain to continue his career abroad. And he has also shown his full admiration for Guardiola and Barca in a recent interview with Don Balon.
“It is a pleasure to watch Barcelona play, especially when they combine skill, strength, potency and effective finishing,” he said.
“It makes all the other teams envious, but it also pleases. The whole world likes Barcelona’s style. Individually, I would say Lionel Messi is the best player in the world, but they also have players like Eto’o, Henry and Alves.
“And even though I am a forward, I know that players like Xavi, Iniesta and Puyol also make Barca tick. They play attractive football just as much as the attackers.”
David Villa Ahead Of Benzema & Fernando Torres In Barcelona Wish List - Goal.com (http://goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2009/03/17/1159701/david-villa-ahead-of-benzema-fernando-torres-in-barcelona-wish-li)
David Villa has heaped praise on Barcelona and their style of play as he explained that he loves watching the Catalan side and thinks they have some of the best players in the world.
The Valencia forward has been linked with a summer switch to Camp Nou and his interview with Don Balon will do little to quash the stories as he enthused about Pep Guardiola's team.
While pledging himself to los Che, Villa added that he could comfortably fit in to a style like Barca's which he feels is much more attractive to watch than Real Madrid's.
"It is better to watch and more beautiful," he said. "I really like watching them play. But all styles that lead to wins should be respected.
"Against Olympique Lyonnais, the first half an hour was spectacular and was not like we are used to seeing in the modern game. Only Barcelona and a few other teams play like that.
"They combine technique, strength, power and effectiveness."
Villa has played with various members of the Barcelona side for Spain and picked them out as being the keys to why the Blaugrana are playing so well.
"The strength of the team is Carles Puyol, for his leadership of the defence, and Xavi and Andres Iniesta because they make the three up front play," he continued.
"Xavi and Iniesta have ability that every midfielder in the world would envy. They really have such great quality.
"For a forward to play with players like them behind you is marvellous.
"But all three of their forwards are among the ten best in the world, with Lionel Messi being the best."
When asked if Villa could see himself playing in Barcelona's system, he was clever to avoid being drawn into the rumours about what will happen in the summer.
"I could adapt to any style like any other player that has a desire to succeed and do well," he added.
"Any player can play with anyone else, but I am not thinking about that now because I just want to do well for my club."
