I just mean any rule changes, whether we know about them yet or not. I'm just afraid the season will start and half the people won't know about half of the rule changes. I was thinking ESPN might have set the roster size to 27 players this year too, but we'll need Mack to come by to confirm that.

If we don't hear anything at least a week before the draft, then maybe we should restart the league, and just make sure everyone drafts their keepers in the first 6 rounds. We can't go on without a captain.

Why has the keeper date been changed now???

I was kind of looking forward to being able to start my scouting this weekend, and it's a lot easier when I know what players are available. I don't want to leave this until the last minute. Mack, you really need to make an appearance here. There are 11 other GMs in this league, and you can't just go making changes without checking with people, or at very least letting us know.

Been abscent for a while, sry for that, but had alot going on in my life.
Looking forward for a new season of fantasy league and NHL season. Maybe this is the year for the RANGERS, hmm wished I could believe it myself.....
Studying full time now and working some weekends here and there but got the draft sunday off work so I´ll be able to attend the draft.
Don´t know if it´s the beer talking but werent we 4divison´s last year? Even if we weren´t why not 4division? If I remember correctly there were alot of people wanting to join our league.

no chrizzie, go to the "select keepers" page and select the 6 you like to keep...the others are going to be dropped automatically tomorrow. there must be a blue "K" next to the players name, then he is selected as a keeper! ;)

but more important is that you changed the starting defenders from 5 to 6 and the bench from 5 to 7!
also we need to vote on the total goalies because most of us want it to set back to 3 instead of 4 (like we had at the beginning of last season)
and there might be other questions we need to answer BEFORE the season starts....thats why we were worried, we are as excited as you mack, so we want to clear all things as soon as possible....

ESPN always seems to mess up the schedules. I could be wrong, but I don't think anyone would disagree that having it balanced is better. Mack, do you want to balance that up for us?

Well Hall's projection looks pretty good, and he's only going to get better imo. I'm thinking about dropping Gonch. He's getting up there in age now, and he's injury prone. Plus he plays for the Sens now not the Pens. I just feel that Hall will have a better fantasy year than Gonch, and many more great fantasy years to come. :)

Maybe I can scoop Gonch back up in the draft anyways, who knows.

I wouldn't have kicked you out without first asking the other GM's and secondly asking you or wwvdw. Well next time you´re planing to kick someone out do it the other way around. FIRST ask the GM of the respected teams and tell them what the problem is so that they can either change or leave, then the league. I was looking forward for the draft and the game chat.
Theres a huge different from not responding to a trade offer from writing on this forum or not. I took care of my team last year and think I logged in every day and would have done so this year also.
I told you when I was away last year. Mactic took care of my team and he did a hell of job.
But I answer yes to your future question or no depending on how you ask it. I leave my team and you can bring in a new GM.

Have Papaboupa and wwwvdw been even less active as I've? I haven't posted much in recent months because it's the off-season and I'm busy with other things. I find a kinda harsh to block them out just for that.

I also agree with Papaboupa that it's kinda incentive to just post the message here without first discussing it with them.

They way I see it. Active participation within the league is required. (Daily roster setting, trade, polls involvement etc.) but posting in this thread is not mandatory and more a plus.

I hope both can stay within this league.

Every one of the players that I traded for picks was better than the keeper they replaced. You'll be kicking yourself for not making me an offer for Pavelski, Koivu or Laich. I can't believe nobody was interested in Bourque though. I figured he'd be the most sought after player on my roster.

My time machine needs to have the flux capacitor tightened, so I can't prove anything to you yet, but you'll see. :D

Edit: I have no problem with everyone seeing the keepers. It'll just prove my point even further that the players I traded would've gone very early in the draft.
