You welcome. I really don't feel sad for losing Kulemin. As for Kesler, yeah maybe he gets me 3.5-4 points a game so that would equal to 14-15 points a week. I am pretty sure Gagner and Voracek would get me the same amount.
I really didn't plan on keeping Kesler so it's not like I lost a keeper too. It really is a WIN WIN WIN situation.

Let me ask you, which do you think is better? A player who gets 20 points in 82 games, or one who gets 40 points in 50 games? Nobody can predict injuries, but I do know that experience usually translates into results.

The average age of my team is 29.333333, and most players don't really hit their stride in the NHL until after 25. If you want a team full of Hedmans, that's up to you, but I think you know how it's going to turn out. :)

I'd rather have an injured player I can replace temporarily then a young player that hits is inevitable form crisis / cold streak. There's only 6 keepers so only with those players you have to "worry" about them having value next season. Rather an experienced vet going into one last season to win the SC then a rookie that might have his breakout season (most of them won't).

It was a tough decision, but either way it wasn't going to work out well. I just can't cheer for a Leaf goalie when he's playing my Habs. I'm not too disappointed with his performance though. I'm actually a little surprised he was still on FA, because he was ranked as a top 30 fantasy goalie with this improved defense in front of him, and should prove to be a solid number 2 fantasy goalie, and an excellent bargaining chip. :)

Nope, surprisingly nobody grabbed him. Too bad he's not 18 or I know someone who would be begging me for him right now. :D

Considering he'll play at least 50 games this season, I think it's very safe to say he can be penciled in for about 30 wins. The only reason I don't want him is because I don't want to have to cheer for the Leafs when he's playing. I'll have one too many goalies in a couple weeks when Leighton is back too, so I always intended to trade him.

Like I said, the price is not that high right now, but it may very well skyrocket in a couple weeks time if it turns out this new Leaf team is a competitor. I'm looking for a 3rd or 4th winger, or perhaps a 2nd or 3rd pairing d-man. If anyone wants to talk, I'll be in the chat. :)

I think you're out of luck. If you catch it before the player on your bench plays, you can swap out the injured player for him, but if he already has the points, it's too late.

I would say no. I ran into a similar situation tonight when Spezza was a game time decision and he ended up playing and scored a goal. It's in our hands to put the guys we want in our lineups. :)

Sure. I am really happy with his performance. Also I am not sad about trading Pominville for Fleischmann. Fleischmann has already 3 points this season. All in all my team looks better with Vinny, Staal, Booth (healthy), Halak and Briere :)
