Well one LM thought he could come away with this. I can understand you. So mac I guess has traded the players back. I was in bed last night so I cant really say anything to that issue. But all is well now. Players are back at their last place.

Last night, me and Habs thought the trade (Backstrom-Myers, Nash) got vetoed by a LM so we got mad and we had the trade put through manually. Then MaCk came and explained it got vetoed by the league so he undid it. No one lost their LM power...

I don't understand why people are starting to veto trades now. The Backstrom trade between me and Habs had 7 votes and 3 vetoes, and all of a sudden people changed their mind and changed their vote to veto... What the hell is going on!?!

BUT please stop abusing you LM´s power, if you thought that a LM vetoed it, you could have talked to mack or post it here to answer the question before making manual moves. its the same with adding goalies after the games began ( i know it happens only once with mack, but....how can we be sure???)... skinny me and the rest can´t do such moves so its simple unfair!
for you its "no a big deal" because it got changed back, but with such moves our trust in the LM´s decreases.... you see the point?!
normally i wouldn´t complain, but its not the first time that somehting like this happened (for example: pushing trades through with less than the needed votes,....) so i thought its maybe a good time to tell you my concern...

All trades will go thru the 24 hour process....this is a rule that was first set and seems to be working fine...gives everyone a chance to review deals....and this coming from me..the person who's past 3 out 4 trades got veto'd because of this new rule....

Well I think it is normal. I have made a mistake myself but I think it is stupid to change the vote after you already voted ;) It would be nice if the ones who DID Change their votes could explain us why..Thanks. Well sometimes it is needed but you should have a CLEAR opinion and not a washy washy meaning change it during the 24 hours for no reason. Your task is too review the trade and if you have done that there will be one opinion.

i think if a GM agrees on a deal then he should be responsible for his action. and if he feels screwed by the other GM then he should have think about it before he agreed. i mean some of us talk like 2 or 3 days to get a deal done...and then it gets vetoed and all the "work" was useless.....
but thats just my opinion, maybe we should discuss that in offseason ;)

I was under the impression this was supposed to mirror the real NHL, and in a lot of ways it did from the start, but now this league is just a circus. Rules are constantly changing, everyone is using the FA list as an extended bench (100 extra acquisitions was WAY too many. It should have been 100 total for the season, if not less), and there is no realism left in this league at all.

I've kind of stopped caring, because the season is almost over anyway, but it's really too bad things worked out this way.

I guess I'll just need to find some like-minded people to be in a league with next year, because I need to be in a league with a little more structure and organization.

The Sabres' second goal in Friday's 4-3 loss to Carolina has been changed to give Roy the credit on a deflection of Drew Stafford's shot, The Buffalo News reports.
Spin:
Stafford will get an assist on the goal and Roy now has 13 goals on the season. We've noticed some stat sites on the web haven't updated this yet, so if you use Roy in your league make sure you get credit for the goal, as originally he wasn't factored in at all on the score.

ESPN still says 12 goals and they didn´t count it ;)

The Toronto Habs have reportedly been open to accepting offers for sleeper RW, Brandon Yip. With 11 goals and 7 assists in only 22 games for Colorado this year, he's sure to bring in the missing defensive piece the Habs will need to go the distance in the playoffs.

"Brandon has been a really solid player for us since we picked him up off of free agency, and as much as we'd love to keep him in the lineup, we feel with our surplus of wingers that he may be better off on another team's roster", Toronto Habs GM said in an interview yesterday.

No word yet on any official offers, but a deal is sure to be in the works. ;)

I don’t know much about baseball. I do support Jays but that’s really it. I wasn’t an expert about NHL either before I started with this but still had a slight idea what to expect from players but from Baseball I only know less than a dozen players so probably lacking the knowledge for it,

I'm mostly interested in trades for Afinogenov, He starts to play better lately and with the trades done by Trashers, space might open up for a return of him to the first line. So interested what you guys can offer for him.

Now would be a very good time to target Brassard in a trade, before he catches fire.

I declined the Stajan for Phaneuf trade because I'm only interested in getting a defenseman in return for a defenseman. Also, I didn't realize you weren't interested in Stoll at all, I thought you weren't interested in him for Stajan, sorry. To be honest, I thought the Stoll for Brunette (who is on your trade block) was a pretty good offer. :)

We were just talking in the chat, and it looks like the deadline will be extended until midnight tonight, in order for us to see where players end up after the real deadline today, and make the necessary moves. It says right now that the deadline is extended until next week, but don't be mistaken, it's midnight tonight and not a second later. ;)

So now we can all relax. There's still plenty of time to make some deals. I might be interested in a couple of those players, Chrizzzie. You'll probably get at least one offer from me in the next couple hours. I'm going to update my block now too, so everyone can feel free to check it about five minutes after I post this. :)

It's not a flexible date which you can constantly reshuffle.

Everyone knew the deadline way in advance and knew trades had to be made before this date.

I always thought the deadline should be after the real deadline anyway. NHL GMs seal their own fate with the moves they make, but we're at the mercy of them, and their decisions. It would really suck to trade for someone on the Caps or the Sharks only to have them be traded to the Leafs the next day. :D

I say our deadline next year should be a week after the real deadline, but that's a poll for next year's fantasy league. :)

Gonne have builders and carpenters here now for 2 weeks so dont know how active I can be so please keep a´n eye on the bulldogs for another week or two. But if I´m able to I´ll set up the team myself.
