You can put players in any position, can't you, not just what they usually actually play in? (Sorry, never actually done this before:o)
But I can't just have a Scot/French team, lol...

Not in any position technically. But you each set can be composed of 3 similar players.

E.g front row can have 3 props or 3 hookers, but not 3 second rowers

Maybe all the experts have heard that the Blackpudding RFC is in the competition, and with no chance of winning they will not join.

Mhm... I really hope the Bergamasco brothers will add a lot of point to your fantasy team, but realistically I dont think they're as good as they once were, especially Mauro who struggles for a place in the stade francais 22! Mind you Mirco is supposed to be the new italian kicker, so you might want to swap him with Paterson, he he he :-)

BUt seriosuly, Bortolami doesnt play much at gloucester, the italian front row at saracens is not that dominant, and most of the other italians playing in france are replacements (even canale at clermont)

This week's news that no italian team is likely to have enough money to take part in next year's magners leauge is very sad indeed.... a "golden" generation is fading, and there's nothing to replace it with!

I soooo hope I'll have to take this rant back come the 20th of march! :-)

True, all true.

But I'm quite happy having Mirco & Mauro ...they always work really hard & deserve a bit of a break!
Also, I was trying to pick a team using as as few Irish, Welsh &, obviously, English players as possible!:D I let in Jonny Wilkinson cos he's practically French now, Riki Flutey cos he's a Kiwi, and Lewis Moody cos he's a bit mad... (Also, they're quite good-I'm not that stoopid!)
