I personally think dat seattle/tampa/ESPN/FOX has da worst announcers i've ever heard. I live in fl and last season, i can remember Dewayne Stats killing every game da rays play. Jon and Joe is old and boring, he should retire. I think Dan Shulman and Dave O'Brian should STICK TO BASKETBALL and I think Boomer, Gary, and Boog should call more games. I like Mike Kay and Gary Cohen so I don't care bout da 3-man crew. Hawk/DJ or whoever they put on da TV set kills da game for da sox. MLB Network is not dat bad but Bob Costas should be da #1 play-by-play man for all games. I PERSONALLY HATE MATT V AND VICTOR ROJAS. Buck/McCarver is da only reason y da ratings have sunk and then TBS is not dat bad BUT DA ONLY PROB IS THEY FIRED CHIP CARAY WHICH THERE WAS NO NEED. Cubs announcers needs Harry Caray or even Skip back from da grave. Braves announcers will rock da 2010 season with authority. But I hate Brian Anderson and Don Orsillo cause they only go crazy when their team scores and win and they seem to lower their vioces when they play-by-play for TBS or calls da opposite team HR. So simply i can make play-by-play by myself.

Good thing my Cards know who to put in the booth. Dan and Al are great, (not to mention Mike Shannon and John Rooney on the radio). Even beats ESPNs sundy night baseball announcing team.
I picked FOX because of Joe Buck/Tim McCarver. I've also heard the Nationals Announcers are pretty bad.
Well we in Blue Jays land now have to deal with Buck Martinez as play by play. We got rid of his as manager but it doesn't look good to be able to get rid of him with his new gig.

@Rat...lmao. I agree dude, Neverett does absolutely nothing for me. It would be more exciting watching paint dry, than listening to his play by play. I guess i got spoiled with the Gunner and Lanny.

The Nationals announcers are the worst, hands down! They're such homers and really annoying whenever that pathetic team scores some runs, celebrating like they won the WS. I always mute them when I have to watch a Phillies game on a Nationals feed. Those homers make me throw things at my TV :-D
Edit: Oh, i forgot...Tom McCarthy sucks balls!!! I really miss Harry the K, may he rest in peace!!! It would be great if the Phillies would decide to go with Larry Andersen and Scott Franzke, though it will never happen...shame...

Buck was ok for the O's past couple of years.
i hope the sox don't mean red sox ..because jerry remy and don orsillo are the best....i watch other games and there a yawn fest the red sox announcers make it fun

I personally like Hawk Harrelson, but realize to some people he can be pretty annoying. When he was with Tom Paciorek, that teaming was like nails on a chalk board. Him and DJ weren't that bad, but he definitely controlled the broadcast. Now that Steve Stone is with him, he has to stay more on task and prove his baseball knowledge rather than setting himself up for sounding like a fool.

Whereas the Marlins announcers are generally unbiased and just want good baseball. A big bonus in favor of the Fish announcers is when Rich baits Tommy into a rant. Always funny.

And yeah, it's hilarious that he's actually now throwing it to the man who replaced him. Kind of sad, but screw him, he had ample opportuinity not to be a complete tool. It was so easy to find things Campbell said that were idiotic. I remember one time against the Yankees, Cano made a leaping throw to first and Campbell said "You'd think we were at the ballet tonight!"

Anyway after hearing all the Phils-Nats streams with the Nats broadcasters , I vote to add Rob Dibble and whoever the other guy is. They honestly were some of the worst ever. My dad especially couldn't stand them. He takes baseball real seriously..lol

Although some nice eye candy, and a very sweet personality... Hazel Mae's delivery of "Quick Pitch" on MLB Network completely grates my nerves, like nails on a effing chalk board.

After watching a lot games so far this year, Because of the efforts by all the streamers making that possible, I would have to say the Rockies announcers bring no life to the game. If ur watching a rockies game do not take ur eyes off the screen for 1 min. because you will not know if any team has hit a home run or a double or scored a run. These guys keep the same TONE of voice though out the whole game. Very boring to the ears.

Couldn't agree more. Keith Hernandez even bores HIMSELF to sleep! Darling is ok but Hernandez HAS to goooooo! And he's the one stuck on the "Broadway" thing, not to mention the way he loves to say "HANGER"... He says it with all the enthusiasm of Steven Wright in a comedy sketch. No I take that back... Steven Wright is more enthusiastic.

Nationals telecast is good, it's in HD for all 162 games. BUT Knowledge on the broadcast is bad. Last night one of 'em didn't even know that the D-backs had signed the D-train... They also argue everything that doesn't go the Nats way, it's obnoxious.
The Reds have two below average play by play guys, keels and kelch. luckily we have good color guys and thom b. does some games. The Reds have like 6 guys that rotate, it's weird right now.
