How about not letting people hijack streams?

Exactly this is the main prblem some guys hack your stream and put their web sites ads or images.

and I jst checked 3 hours before the problem was not shorted out and the one can still hack the stream easily.

Please fix this issue because this is the main problem because visitor come on your site to veiw stream and if some hackers kee on hacking stream one day no one will stream using your limv web site :D Please adming of limev fix this problem 1st and make rtmp over ride protectable or protect it with login and password.

That's funny :) Though I do believe boxlive does delete content so if LimeV offers a workaround which prevents this I'm more than happy with it :)

I Got the reason why it is so easy to hack :-)

now how to hack stream just look at source code for player & get file name of stream and creat a new channel on limev and copy rtmp from newly created channel and enter it on adobe flash encorder now copy file name from sourse code and enter it and hack stream

I am not showing or guiding anyone to hack stream but may be this should help admins to fix the issue i must say limev stream server is very Good now no water mark of limev on player but the only prb is rtmp is hack able :-)

I have issue with it when some 1 try to hack stream he/she can't but in attempt to the hacking thing original stream getting stop while on veemi . com some one can't hack stream and original stream won't stop as well, please fix this issue cuz limev video quality is greater thn veemi

I have created channel: testing786

Now create another channel: testing12345

now start stream the channel 1st i.e testing786

now to stop some one stream put the following rtmp into encorder since password for both channel's rtmp is different but you can edit password in the rtmp link and put password from the 2nd rtmp you created

now start encorder and the original stream will stop :D
I want limev to slove this problem so that no one can hack & stop other stream :) this will help limev to grow more otherwise user will stop streaming via limev. :)

I just get the Problem publishing at Primary Server. Unable to publish btr01 stream either due to Network Problem at server, the stream name being used is busy, or you are not authorized to publish to this server. Please check the network connection with server, try publishing with other stream name, or contact your FMS administrator for help error when I do.
I would be a real hassle to create a channel and update my website each and everytime I stream :confused_new:

also your support email comes back as non excising.

Shame since I really like the player and the quality. :(

In my opinion this thread should be in the same as yycast.com, we all know that they share the servers but also if you create a channel on yycast with the name for myp2p (for example) and start streaming there, and create a channel in limev with same name and go to this channel you will notice that your stream is online on limev too, thing that isnt good if we pretend to use the domain protection on yycast :(

As you all remember when SoftLayer pull the plug on SimpleCDN we stepped in and lend some servers to limev. They also have their own servers (more than 50%). Site has a unique code and is different in terms of quality and features to YYCast.

We let go some servers because of summer but we will upgrade pretty soon. atm we can easily hold 60K
