I thought a collective list of when the post season games would air and on which station would be nice so we can easily cover them.

This post will be updated as teams clinch their playoff berths in the next week or so as well as during the playoffs as teams advance.

Now that the Postseason is set. I will be covering the Twins vs. Yankees games ONLY (and so on and so forth). IF the Twins get knocked out I will be done covering the MLB until next year because I will be finding comfort in the likes of some honey weiss. Also, I figure there's enough of us streamers covering one station for the first round which shouldn't be too hard...

Hi guys, I know this is a P2P forum but I have a problem..

I'm on a campus network and it's firewall-ed...and I'm unable to use P2P software here...the sortware just doesn't connect to the network, I've tried so many times..:( it really sucks..:-( But anyway, I'd like to listen to the Yankees games this postseason...is there anyway I can just listen to them without P2P software...if you guys have links to any working website to hear the Yanks broadcasts (either home or away, I don''t care...so Twins/Yanks both is fine) please help me out...otherwise I will have to settle for gameday which...:rolleyes_new::o isn't the best option..

Anyway thanks in advance for all your help...:-)

This is from the streaming thread:

FreeBaseballRadio.com (http://www.freebaseballradio.com/mlb.html) & TheGameLive.com (http://www.thegamelive.com/baseballmlb.html) Try these sites for radio game broadcasts

Many times you can find a station that doesn't "black-out" once the actual game broadcast starts.

I wondered how you guys would get the post season sorted. Needless to say you have it well under control and the rest of us mere mortals can sit back and enjoy the games. A great big thank you to all who make it possible, simply the best. :)

Many times you can find a station that doesn't "black-out" once the actual game broadcast starts.if you do find a radio link that is not "blacked out" for the game, please don't post the link...because the mlb gestapo lurks around here, and if they find out about the link they will shut it down.

as an example, earlier this season, someone posted a webstream of reds radio from athens, ohio. i checked it out, and sure enough the game was on. the next day, i went back to the same link. it was playing the reds pre-game show, but right before first pitch an announcement came on saying that "regular programming" would return after the game. they played music for the next 3 hours. obviously, the station was just simul-streaming its over-the-air signal straight to the web. once mlb got wind of it, they shut it down.

so, with this in mind, if you do find a working radio link you would like to share, the best course of action would be to report it privately to a mod, and then one of us streamers can make a p2p clone of the stream. thus, mlb won't be able to tell where the source of the p2p radio is coming from. i, for one, would be more than glad to do so. i think we could use more p2p radio anyway--it's so easy to do! all it takes is an am/fm radio and a cord to connect from the headphone jack to your soundcard.

P.S. i plan to stream as much radio coverage of the playoffs as i can. however, it will be on Streamtorrent. have you tried this p2p app? it has pretty good NAT traversal (it works itself around firewalls.) if your campus net is truly blocking all p2p programs, i would fight it! there are plenty of legitimate uses for p2p--including streamtorrent. you can watch/listen to bbc world service or c-span--public domain stuff that can't be shutdown due to copyright. as long as there are legitimate uses, blocking *all* use curtails your internet experience unnecessarily. i would bitch & moan until they were sick of looking at me:)

anyway, good luck...and go twins--spank the yanks!;)

Thanks and I won't post it...makes sense what you said about the MLB hounds pulling it down if they get a hint of it.

Yeah I tried stream torrent before...and it just doesn't connect to the network...very disappointing...when I start it, I see no signs that I'm connected to the internet as ST shows that it's disconnected...
