Sorry for the late reply but I couldn't test your stream while I was streaming myself..

Just to start off, I wouldn't recommend streaming via Sopcast when you stream NBA. The NBA has been known to ban Sopcast streams in the past. The best P2P application for NBA would be StreamTorrent, and you can find the details of how to stream with StreamTorrent in the Broadcasting/Streaming section.

I've just opened it but I can't get it to buffer past about 50%... What is your upload speed, and what is the bitrate you are streaming at? Generally for a P2P stream, you should have somewhere from 3x to 5x the upload speed as whatever your bitrate is.

Not a problem man ;) As far as I know, it will always read as 100% buffer and Quality: Perfect on the streamer's side.. Truly the only way to know how it is running is to test it on another computer or, preferably, have someone else test it for you.

Now I know everyone loves a stream that is high quality, which is what I'm guessing you're going for.. But in all honesty, a 650k ST stream isn't going to look any worse than a 1100k ST stream (in fact, the same can apply to flash streams as well, I can make a 400k stream look better than a 1000k stream)...

If I might make the suggestion to drop your bitrate to around 650k, I think it would definitely benefit a lot of viewers, who do not have the upload capacity to watch a 1100k stream. You'd be doing a lot of viewers a favor, and you really wouldn't lose much if any quality on your stream :) Plus you save bandwidth to do other stuff as well ;)

Just some advice from an experienced ST streamer.. :D

Go Dirk and Go Dallas! Although i don't want Dallas to lose against the Lakers tonight it wouldn't be that bad. With the remaining schedule in mind, the Lakers then would have a good shot at #1. Which will also mean that Dallas wouldn't have to deal with the Lakers in the 2nd round but in the conference finals.
