i used to hate timmy back in the day when we got our asses handed to us in the playoffs by the spurs every year, but i was young back then. timmy is one of the classiest players in the league also one of the most intelligent and unselfish. how can you not love that? :D

If you ask me best player right now on C's roster is named RR,all players have a needed value,KG is the mental leader and anchors the defense,Ray stroke impeachs teams to double PP,PP is the lethal killer and the best scorer,Perk is the tough guy doing the dirty work,but all starts with Rondo right now....the more time goes by and those all-stars get older the more RR importance is growing!!!
And i think behind Phil,we have the best coach in the league,actually i respect Phil career and titles but i do not like him because of all the cheap shots he's taking year after year,saying things about other teams or players,he does not need that in my eyes to win but looks like he loves it anyway...........anytime Phil says something you have to think what can Phil win from these words!!!:rolleyes:
Hope Doc stays one more year.......actually he will cause this year champs again!:D

The big Ticket is a legend too,changed this league,they never saw something like him before he came,was MVP,rebounds titles,defensive awards and other awards,olympics gold,many franchise records in sota and other records in the league....dude is a legend on his own!:)
Love PP cause he plays for my team but noone can top KG IN MY HEART so long he will play in the league.......probably my favorite player ever next to Pip when he'll end his career but so far i enjoy KG and retirement is still some years away,hopes he plays one more year at least after end of his contract????:o:o:o

KG a legend, maybe, but its not about the numbers you mentioned, its about the guy. i'm not gonna keep making cases for a player i like but not love and who is not on a team i like
but KG wanted out of minnesota, and there are other player, lebron, iverson, tmac, vince, shaq (i'd never count bosh) that changed their team when times were tough and lost their legacy in many peoples eyes. in mine too.
i prefer guys like pierce, duncan, dirk, kobe (yes, kobe) even though he also wanted out.
as far as i'm concerned, i have no problem with you or KG. go on say bird > pierce, no doubt bird was a b e t t e r player, bu we're talking about f a v o r i t e players, so thats where i have pierce at a higher position, coz i -- like you -- grew up watching t h i s generation of players!
KG stayed longer in sota than needed,if i can relate to something everytime KG returns to Sota......standing ovation from folks there!!!!
He brought Sota so high as he could,and in conf finals was the end......Sota was incredible there just think 2004.....!!!
He tried as long he could there but there's no issues with that roster year after year,so at end management was willing and wanted to trade him to get back something to rebuild cause in 07 they were going nowhere......you can't compare the way KG parted things with sota with guys like VC,Tmac,Bron.....so on!!!
rare to see guys showing that kind of emotions like KG did when they talk about winning and make their team better.....just saying!!!

it's just a personal thing for me with paul pierce. never mind KG doesnt care about the team, never said that. but he left, for whatever reason, i know what he did in minnesote, i aint no idiot, i watched the NBA the last couple of years i know what vince did to toronto was ugly and KG is welcomed back home, but its something different to me if a legacy is built on 2008 to say 2012 or 2013, on 5 years with maybe 2 chips and Zero finals-mvps. thats what i'mma say

Co-sign. You've got to be old school when it comes to building your legacy. You either got game or not. Playing for the Lakers helps you selling jerseys, but not winning titles...ask MJ, if you don't believe me. Chicago wasn't sh*t before he came to the Bulls.

When we talk KG i'm more than biased but it's okay for me a legacy is based on a whole career,even without finals MVP nobody can take him away all his records and awards and who knows what happens this year or next year???:rolleyes:
