Hey guys, this site is awesome. Some channels aren't working for me though

The National Geographic channels connect to media and then it does nothing and goes black. Other channels work. Is the channel down or is it on my side?

Are the National Geographic channels having server problems?

If some channels work and some don't , then its most likely they are offline at the time, try later.

I know it's not game time yet for the Packers v. Cowboys, but I'm nervous about it because I tried Sopcast on Sunday and kept getting "this channel offline" when it shouldn't have been (I guess). Sopcast comes up with "Channel 6391" highlighted, but again, says it's offline. Any help? Please don't make me go out to the bar to watch the game. :) Thanks for all you do here, it's a great service!

If it says the channel is offline, then there is really no luck on. This means the stream is not running at all.

Sorry, we cannot help if there is no stream.

Welcome to the club.

Now when I try to watch National Geographic, A box comes up saying to enter Network Password.

What do I do?

Hi,

Until recently (a little less than a month ago), I could always get BBC channels on TV Ants (they are not available on either Sopcast or TVU), but suddenly they quit opening. The small window goes through the usual start-up phase but stops just when buffering should begin, leaving the following message "popup blocked".

I can get any other news channel from around the world (my world news is now supplied by France 24 and BFM TV, mainly), just no longer the BBC channels, except for the BBC World radio service (not bad itself, but pictures are nice, and the focus on BBC World News is different). Does anyone else outside the UK have this problem? I used to subscribe to BBC World via Real Player until I got tired of Real Player's patchy quality and ditched the service (only about $6 a month, but the cost was not the issue). I have my own website where I occasionally lambast the BBC, sometimes naming a specific journalist (not because the BBC is worse than the others, in fact, quite the contrary, but then I hold the BBC to a higher standard), so I am wondering whether someone at the BBC has decided to take revenge, specifically blocking my access to the service on TV Ants (no, I don't have a guilty conscience).

I repeat, does anyone else have a problem receiving the BBC on TV Ants?

Yours,
freealltv

FSC (tvu player) works, but every minute stops the image for several seconds and then continue to play. I use this channel for several months and have never had this problem. All the other channels work perfectly. Has anyone else the same problem or is it to my computer? sorry for my bad English.

Thanks for the quick reply. My suspicion is confirmed. I can only hope that the problem is solved at the beginning of the new premier league season.
