There are a few options, to watch Afreeca again;
1) With Proxifier and using Socks5 proxies
2) With Proxifier and using http proxies
3) With Tor + using proxifier
3) With a Socks5 proxy in Proxifier (allows you to watch longer then with http
Using a Socks5 proxy it's all very easy...

Make sure to have Proxifier on your pc, if not, download it first

Then, run this patch to make the trial a full program:

Ofcourse install it.
Start proxifier
first make it Afreeca only, go to options --> proxification rules --> proxy only the following + manually proxified --> Add one :
Rule Name = Afreeca
Applications = afreecaplayer.exe (search for this one where you installed afreeca!)
ip ranges = 222.233.54.57
port = 3456
press OK!
Then make sure it's selected!
Search for a proxy
www.ipfree.cn/en/

for example you find this one, make sure to get a South Korea one;
South Korea 203.233.115.5 8001 fc24 888 OK socks5
To check if it works, use proxychecker;

Start it --> Proxy server --> add the ip, it's 203.... , port = 8001
protocol = Socks5
use authitencation --> username = fc24 pass=888
This is the same for every other proxy, but username and stuff changes!!!
Add a Proxy
Then you need to add a proxy in Proxifier, to work with Afreeca. This can be done by going to Options --> Proxy Settings --> Add
first enter an ip adress, secondly the port, then socks 5, with username and pass and fill in the info;
South Korea 203.233.115.5 8001 fc24 888
Add it the same was as with proxifier. Then it's easy, make sure the one is selected and press ok.
Starting Afreeca player
Login on Afreeca. If you didn't register yet, read here ;

if you did register, on the left fill in your username first, then your pass. press the button right near it! ( http://afreeca.pdbox.co.kr/img/main_img/btn_login.gif
f you're logged in you see the username there.
To watch, click trhe blue button.

Make sure to allow pop-ups, as you get regular updates with Afreeca. Then you will get the window as can bee seen on our guide.
Finding a channel
Right on top, you see a search box.Type VS or LIVE in it, and press enter. You will get alot of channels. Select one and see if it's football. Otherwise select another one. Look to the images.
If you got a stable channel then you can untick the proxy, then it will go faster, After a while you get a ok message that your proxy expired, you can't switch anymore from channel, but that isn't needed when it runs fine. Otherwise reconnect again using a proxy.
* It gives an error when clicking: Your proxy is expired, try again with new proxy, close and start again from beginning with searching for a proxy.

2) With Proxifier, using http proxy
1.Download a trial version of proxifier :

Then, run this patch to make the trial a full program:

2. You need a korean proxy. There are a lot of sites that update daily proxies from different countries. I used http://nntime.com/index.php?psearch=korea or http://www.samair.ru/proxy/ . Some of the Ip works some does not .You gotta try till you find a working one.
To check if the proxy is working; use this checker:

3. Run Proxifier. Open Proxy settings from the menu and "add" a working korean proxy.
I have checked protocol HHTP but it might work with socks 4 and 5 too ( I will try them too but I have no idea what they are) . Just use HTTP protocol.
Then I have checked "appears as Internet explorer 6". Moaybe will work even if it is not cheked.
4. Log in to http://www.afreeca.com and click the blue button. You are supposed to open the player.
The speed might be low because of the poxy but you can disable it from proxifier once you have open the player. I don't know if it continue to use the proxy or it start using you real ip. If the last, you gotta see Afreeca just like you use to see it before they made the restrictions.
So this is how to do it :
Login to Afreeca , then select a working proxy in Proxifier ,Start with a proxy (press blue button), when loading Afreeca disable the proxy (be sure the window shows up instead of yes/no message).
Disable proxy : so untick it and then press oke. LEAVE Proxifier RUNNING!!! don't close! , then you can watch all channels :D!

3) How to watch Afreeca easily with Tor:
1. Download Vidalia bundle from here: http://tor.eff.org/dist/vidalia-bundles/vidalia-bundle-0.1.2.13-0.0.11.exe
2. Install only TOR form the bundle. Whoever is using mozilla can install Turbutton too (it's a plugin so you can easily run and stop tor form your browser). You can also insltall Provixy(it's some kind og web anonymizer) if you now how to use it for some cases. I have not learn when it can be usefull so far.
3.Find TOR servers. Here is a list of working severs by Country: http://proxy.org/tor.shtml
I preffer using this site because you can check is the servers are actvie and there is more detail info: https://torstat.xenobite.eu/
4. In our case we need a korean server. From the search menu in https://torstat.xenobite.eu/ choose KR(from CC dropdown menu) and tor26 form directory. You can use and the other directories but my results shows that tor26 is the most reliable one. The most important thing is the where is says RUNNING and EXIT to bes YES. Also make choose the one that is FAST and STABLE.
Right now "oxyATdual" has very good characteristics.
5. Usually when you install TOR is comes with default settings and it does not use only one server but it choose random ones, In order to make TOR works only with a server from a desired country you have to do the following:
Go to C:\Documents and Settings\Your Account Name\Application Data\Tor
Open "torrc" file with any text editor you have. On the very top delete everything that is above the ## ## ##(where the comments are) and add this:
ExitNodes server name
ExitNodes server name
StrictExitNodes 1
In hour case where we want only korean server add the server names from https://torstat.xenobite.eu
It will looks like that
ExitNodes oxyATdual
ExitNodes Ktulhu
StrictExitNodes 1
You can add as many serves as you can find in case the first one doesnot connect it will proceed with the next one but if you fins fast and stabel server you can put only one.
Save the torcc file
6. Start "tor.exe" form the directory it has been installed in. A cmd window will open, wait untill it says that Tor successfully has open a circuit.
7. Make sure to have Proxifier on your pc, if not, download it first;

Start proxifier. In proxy settings add SOCKS5 or SOCK4server 127.0.0.1, port 9050
In order to proxify only Afreeca make sure you set the proxification rules:
process only the following: Afreecaplayer.exe, ip: 222.233.54.57, port 3456
8. Log in to http://www.afreeca.com and click the blue button. You are supposed to open the player. This way you started Afreeca and you don't need anythign else anymore, no switching from proxies, no unticking...

I disabled the proxy as soon as the player came up and finished loading the channels and then started a stream and it's working a treat :) So it owuld seem that you don't neccessarily have to start a stream with the proxy activated.
Watching CSI, been on for the last 10 mins, no problems :D

Yes, that's my last addition in bold, we found that out on Friday and it works well that way :D

i am using proxifier 2.0 (latest version) and have tried every south Korean IP in the list without luck.
will proxifier work with a router?
as my ip is asigned by the router (when using proxifier, i can't even communicate with the router)

What is the problem now? Finding a working proxy will always be a pain in the ass.
Or not... Now I use Proxier Swither Pro. Just find the ratail version... emule... you know what I mean.
You can search for proxies in Republic of korea with it. Just update them and test them so you are sure they are working. At least you need the proxy for just opening the player and then close it. No more than 10 sec.
Besides this, eveything is OK?

Proxier Switcher Pro is also easier to use, as I read above? :P

Sorry I've missed the request about Proxy Swicher Pro. It was just a suggestion, you can use some other software for finding proxies. But this one is pretty good.
So how is everything going with Afreeca? Is everybody able to run it?
One question about PPLIVE? Are you sure changing the dns helps with watching all the programs?

Dude you need to install an app called winrar first. The file you just downloaded has been compressed (think zip files). You need to install winrar and then uncompress the files. Then install the app as normal.

Dont start the Proxyserver until after you registered
i have tried everything but it doesn't work. Whenever i try to run the player a message pops up with some wierd wiriting on it and you can only press 'OK' - no other option. The only part of the message that can be typed is: (0x003)
That's what the message ends with. Any ideas anyone?

Hi all. I have followed all the instructions, i can log into Afreeca but when i press the big blue button a new page opens with the original screen on again! I've downloaded the proxy thing but can't find an IP that works, anyone got one or know how to solve this. Thanks

I can't believe this. I found the channels now. There's loads of them, and some of them even say liverpool vs. reading. Why can't I make them play? Anyone got it working?
My Afreeca is stuck when i press the blue button. There comes a box with topic afreeca, looks like something is loading (the blue boxes) but then in the end it doesn't go through and explorer needs to be shut down...!!!?? ?

i press the small button by the side of the channel that it listed and another screen comes up with a tiny slow, stop-start version of the game, with a big green and blue button underneath! i can see it, but its impossible to watch. Have no idea how to get it to work in the actual player

I'm beginning to hate these hockey players... anyone got a break-through? Looks like some of the channels are full, so somebody should be watchin!

theres definately a lot of channels showing the liverpool game, theyre all coming up in the channel list but they are all freezing on the advert page of the player. shame that.
maybe all the proxies are overloaded.

I'm using a proxy that wasn't fully working earlier (I was able to bring the player up but couldn't get the channels to play), I just tried that same proxy again and this time I'm in and watching. So, I just learnt not to delete the proxies that allow you to bring the player up, but fail to run streams, they may work another time....
Actually, I'm gonna start saving any proxy that allow me to login to my afreeca account, even if they only get me that far.
What we really need is a site that has excusive korean proxies, or just shit loads of them. Proxy switcher only ever finds a small amount of korean ones, it's never found more than ten. We need a source of updated/tested korean proxies in large numbers.

Because even though proxy switcher says that they are live proxies most of them still don't work, there are frequent errors in connecting to server through the proxies (I usually just use the proxies PS finds and use them in proxifier, that way you can monitor the traffic/connections). Every now and then you get lucky and one does the job.
So everytime I've tried to use Afreeca I have to go through a few live proxies until I get one that ACTUALLY works.
So you're saying you use any live korean proxy from proxy switcher and you always are able to bring the player up, everytime??
That'd be sweet, but it ain't the way it happens for me :(

All I am saying is that either I use the fresh proxies from PS pro or quickly find some korean proxies from the websites that offers proxies. Then I check them in PS and after few attempt I manage to log into Afreeca.
Well, not always from the first time but it does not take so long.. By the way I don't remember if I told you guys that you can make proxifier works only with certain applications. I've made it working only with afreeca's player.exe so at least when i load the poxy in the proxifier the afreca log in page loads faster.

after that i launched IE and it seemed that i had no internet connection and i couldn't get the afreeca homepage.even if i log in to afreeca before launching proxifier,nothing happen.

hi, i am having trouble, i no longer get the message that allows for yes and no options which opens up the foreign user page, i get the following pop up

foShizel , what kind of account are you using? Have you registered with korean residental number or like a foreigner? I have the same popup from time to time.
I just logged into with my foreign account and I got the same message you had. Then I tried my korean accout and it worked fine.
I don't know it might be some other reason?...
The second message is from an offline or full channel, for sure. So the channel you're trying then is full/offline.
I get the 1st window also sometimes,. after clicking to many times after eachother on the blue button. I guess it means that there are more processes from Afreeca running at the same time...:P So just click once and be patient, and for the 2nd one : just find channels with some space or that are online, refresh your list more times then :)
(do this by searching everytime again, or just plressing enter in the search box inside Afreeca)

all channels show the same message irrespective of the amount showing so even if i go for a 1/200 channel it still shows the same message
Use a working proxy then, you need to use a proxy to start Afreeca + you need to use a proxy to start a channel, after you started a channel for the 1st time , disable the proxy but leave the proxier running, so don't close the proxy program. Buffering will go faster then and you're free to select another channel :)

You should be very patient also with the proxies, or try the Proxy Switcher Pro (given above somewhere , which searches itself for a proxy).

You should be very patient also with the proxies, or try the Proxy Switcher Pro (given above somewhere , which searches itself for a proxy).

truck23 , I don't know if the problem is in the korean account.You need a koren residental number(not easy to find) to register with korean account. But I don't think that's the problem . It might be like Admin wrote something with overloading the server.
What do you mean you did everything mentioned and nothing happened. Just tell what really happens so we can try to help you.
Bintizzy3 , you don't have to switch proxies from PS pro. Use it just for finding and testing proxies. As far as it is a free trial, well, just search for retail version(can be found somewhere:))
Admin, sometimes I don't even wait for chennel to open , just cut the proxifier as soon as the player opens.

the proxy you used isn't working, it says Couldn't connect, so I guess tthere something wrong with the proxy you used. You need to search and search long sometimes to get a good proxy :(

I just can't seem to get any korean proxies that are anonymous, All the ones that work still identify me as not trying from korea

I'm kiding! I got the same massage a few times. It might have something to do with the server or with the proxies we use.
If it's the server keep trying to login till you succeed.
I don't know if I am wrong but I think it might be someting with the proxies. I tried a few different ones on port 8080 and they did not work for me.( got the same pop-up you have) Then I used a proxy from here: http://www.xroxy.com/proxy-country-KR.htm on port 3128 and I manage to ge in. I watched a lil' bit then got some strange pop-up again but anyway I was in.
So, just try every proxy you find especially the ones on port 3128 or the ones different from port 8080. It might be something completely different problem but I'm just assuming.

well, I am watching for a quite long time. Apparently it works. I have some delay between the picture and the sound but I guess the problme is in my PC.
I tested this proxy: 125.246.64.194 port:3128
and proxifier setting:
protocol : HTTP , appear as internet explorer 6.0
i received the same message error after tried to launch Afreeca with the blue button.
Afreeca don t launch now even if you are logged.

Bowa , you don't need to be connected always to the proxy because you will have slwo connection. You need to be connected just to start the player. Once you are in disable the proxy from the proxifier but DON'T CLOSE THE PROXIFIER ITSELF.

KARDINAL, on the list of proxifier, i saw the connection on the proxy with the player.exe. Even i got like 10 connections on it. but i can right click some of them and chose the option disconnect. But if chose the wrong connection. It sent me a message and i can t enter anymore on a channel.

When i use proxy switcher pro, i get new WORKING proxies, and i test them just to make sure. but i still have the same problem.
Btw i went ahead and uninstalled afreeca from my system, including all registry settings. And Re-registered as a KOREAN, instead of Foreigner, and reinstalled, afreeca, and used the proxifier and everthing here, but still no luck. I'm not even sure what to do now.

So, what kind of message you have when you try to login to afreeca - the one that ask you for redirecting to the "abroad" page or some other pop-up that does not let you start the player?
If it is the first massage then you are not doing something right with the proxifier. If is the second massage - I don't know:)) Might be bad proxy, overload server, nobody knows yet ..
Right now I'm checking proxy from ProxySwitcher Pro. I choose a working one, put in Proxifier, login to Afreeca and I watch:))))
So, everybody who cannot start it - please post step by step everything you do, describe every detail so we can check what are you doing wrong.
PS I have no clue if this will help, but clean all your cookies, IE caches, temp files and so on and try again

I can't seem to get afreeca to work at all! I have tryed everything you recommend.
I have been using a korean proxy that works, I have tested it. Does afreeca work in ie7? Thats what i'm using. I click the blue button in a ie tab and get this message:

If Afreeca knows we found a way to watch they can do a lot of staff to stop us and we will never be able to get into in. With a little bit of thinking and analazyng I just found that what we need to proxify the player itself but not the IE. And then I found Proxifier just searching in google . So, thanks to the proxifier:) Finding a korean proxy is not so hard, maybe korean ones are the one who are most easy to find

No router here! Try with direct coonection then. What kind of IP are you getting with the router and is your firewall configured right? Was you able o connect to Afreeca before they put the restriction?

Just load it with a proxy, when loading disable it and all channels will work. Just tested it and works superb again, So no need to wait untill the channellist shows up, as soon as it's loaded you can untick the proxy, but leave the proxifier running :D !

(many hands make light work) and maybe have three keys ALIVE. DEAD & DEAD/ALIVE for ones that come and go
i'm sure this would help the community spirit and save everyone a lot of time, and i don't think it would harm your proxy (if you are thinking "this is my baby")

Well, there is a big chance the proxies are dead. Try with the one given in the proxy section in this forum.
I have the same problem sometimes, but after few tries I always find some working proxy. Just search differnet sites with korean proxies.
@Kardinal : is there any other proxy program that works besides proxifier? Because that ran out of being free (expired) .

Yep, I have followed everything to the book. I even used proxchecker to see if the proxies wor working ones - and still nothing. In fact, I ave to uninstall that net configer that comes with proxifier after trying otherwise my internet doesn't work. Is there some settings or xp versions that wont like proxifier? Kardinal makes it sound easy but there are a lot of us on this forum doing it to the letter but still no luck. Would a persons router make or ISP stop it from working in anyway?

Yeh this is a good tool, and I found a working proxy -eventually! But the blue button still resulted in the yes no pop up. Would afreeca remember via cookies or anything like that that my login was at some time attempted from a non korean proxy, thus no matter what proxy i use it would know i had attempted it before? or is that too clever!

JumboMcNutt , this proxy checking tool is made to make sure not only the proxy is working but if it's really working with Proxifier.
There are some proxies that are not working directly with IE but work with Proxifier and vise versa. So, if the check tool shows the proxy is working then it SHOULD work with Proxifier and you dont have to see any yes/nopop-ups.
Are you sure you are doing everything right with the settings in Proxifier?
This proxy 124.2.62.2:3128 has been working for me for few months. If it does not work for you then you are wrong somewhere with the configuration in Proxifier.
About the Cookies I dont think it Afreeca remembers anything. Of course it place cookies on your PC but I have change my IP few times, change even my mac address and DNS and I still can get in.Anyway, if it bothers you you can always delete all the cookies from your computer and try again.
To be honest I don't use Afreeca:)) I just got very pissed off when I saw they banned it for poeple outside Korea and I said to myself - so, you want to play rough, OK! You cocarachas:))) But if they want to completely ban us they can do it. There are a lot of protections they can use so noone aborad can see afreeca. They just dont' know we have found a way:))

By the way, have you watched something from afreeca recently? How is the conenction, a lot of buffering?
it's smooth for me, 800K streams buffering in 10 seconds to 100% , that's how I like it . Seems to be even faster then before with loading and less add-loading time.

can anyone give us a proxy working? i tried one that seemed to be working with proxychecker but finally it doesn't work, it gives me error 10061 in proxyfier
Use the proxychecker , you only need to get the afreeca screen on with it, after that, you untick the proxy and you can watch Afreeca fast enough,
So login already on Afreeca , use a proxy after that, click the blue button, Afreeca will load , as soon as you have got that untick the proxy , leave Proxifier running , and enjoy the channels. You can search then with VS or Live for the match, or look at our matchtopics..

Then I can wath any channle but after few changing of channels I cannot open any of them. All I see is some ad and the screen. Anyone experienced this problem?

Yeah, that's how you should do it. Yesterday same problem for me after disabling the proxy when loading it, I can watch 2 or 3 channels then, or more, but then I get some pop-up and I can't switch then anymore., But if you restart again you can go all the way again , untill it's blocked again. But just choose the channel you want , then it won't be a big problem :)

kolobok , do you really want to register with Afreeca? Then you need Proxifier, then you need workig korean proxies, then some more little trick to make it working.
I mean if you are new to this player I don't think you need it, coz it can be real pain in someone's ass.

disallow the proxy after running Afreeca, don't watch a channel with a proxy ;)
Use the patch like it asks to, find the player.exe of Proxifier and apply it to that...

When I run Proxifier and copy your settings and use a proxy like the one you suggest. Proxifier puts the following in the log info in the lower half of the programs window, it shows :
[21:30] Error : Could not connect to the proxy server 124.2.62.2:3128 (error code 10060)
Which in the proxifier help screens says the following:
(10061)
Connection refused.
No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. This usually results from trying to connect to a service that is inactive on the foreign host—that is, one with no server application running.
And after I give up and close proxifier, to get my internet back up and running I need to run that "Network Configurator"( to remove the settings) app that comes with proxifier. And proxifier will not re-run until I re-configure the Net Config tool! At this rate it will be easier for me to move to Korea!!!!

Do you get this proxifier errors with any proxy you use?
I don't know why you don't have interent connection after you close Proxifier. Plus, I have run Network Configurator and never have problems with my connection.
Just try to reinstall profixier one more time. Do you have any other similar programs on your computer installed( proxy related ones)?

I found faster method to load Afreeca faster with Proxifier. After a little bit of snooping what realy player.exe and cheching where it connects I found this:
Strart Proxifier and go to Profication rules. Click "Proxify only the following" and then click " Add" In "Rule name" give some name to the new rule - for example Afreeca.
In the "IP ranges" put 222.233.54.57 , in "Port" put 3456. The new rule is created.
Then you can start Afreeca and it will load much faster. As far as I understood loading the Proxifier this way you only help player.exe start playing and checking that you have korean IP. After that the real connection with the users is made from your real Ip.This way you don't have to shut off the profixier but leave everything just like it is.
Please give a try and tell me how is your connection?
the old way works perfect still, I will try soon your new way, sounds a bit easier and faster :D

Its still the old way, but if you proxify everything then the IE use korean proxy and you load the main page of Afreeca slowly. Then you have to wait afreeca till it loads and this is a bit slow too. After that everytime you try to play a channel it connects to the user using korean slow connection, unsless you switch off the proxy.
With the new way, once you have create the new rule , all you have to do is just login and after 5 seconds you can start watching.
I still have the problem after watching for a time then suddenly there is a popup message . I can continue watching the channel I am watching at this time but if I try a new one it does not start and nothing works. I still cannot understand what's the reason for that. I have to restart the player but with the new way everything is done for less then a minute.
Kardinal can you check for which version the patch is? I heard some people saying they downloaded 2.5 and the patch is only for 2.0, is it true?
If so, is our download link for proxifier still right?

The patch is for V2. Vesrion v.2.5 was released 2 days ago so it's too eatly for patch.I even have not tried it yet. I will do it tommorow to see what are the improvements but I will stick to the old version till there is a crack for the new one.

The advantage of Kardinal's method compared to the method in the Myp2p afreeca guide is that you are never stuck receiving heavy traffic going unecessarily through the proxy (data connections are always opened before you untick the proxy with the manual method). It all goes directly to you except for the authentification packets. Not to mention you never have to manipulate anything, just leave proxifyer running in the background and it won't slow down your connection in any way.. Furthermore it reduces the stress on the proxies tremendously.
The disadvantage is that it is less universal, and you may need to come back to this thread (or to the guide) if they ever change the IPs and ports to proxify.

If you are lazy you can download (http://www.sendspace.com/file/sq6gra) a proxifier settings file that will make Afreeca magically work :)
In proxifier just click File ->Load Settings et select afreeca.prx (tested in Proxifier 2.0 but it should also work on earlier ones, let me know otherwise). Then leave it running and login as usual in IE.
As said before you can usually only switch channels in the first 5 minutes or so (you can watch your chosen channel as long as you want of course).
If you need to change the channel after you get the message just restart afreeca.

D'oh, you're right on .57, I had problems with afreeca earlier and the fact I included all IPs apparently wasn't what helped. I updated the proxifier settings file with just that IP and port.

Well keeping in mind the manual method doesn't make new connections go through the proxy after you've unchecked it, perhaps an auth packet is sent from a different IP/port than 222.233.54.57:3456 at the time you stop being able to switch. As usual we'll have to find out if anything new happens in the snooper at the time the message appears and if proxifying it makes a difference. I don't know if it always happens after the same duration, we'll see tomorrow. For now it's dinner and match time, g'night :)

But the point is : if it changes the port:
1. Why proxifier disconnect from 222.233.54.57.Even if afreeca connects to other Ip it has nothing to do with Proxifier being connected to the old one.
2. Even afreeca connects to another Ip, when using the old method Proxifier connects to everything with the korean proxy.So, if player.exe try to change the address, Proxifier automatically connects to it. ......... !!!!!!!Yes, that's the idea. Remember, when using the old method we always switch off the proxy so we can use our real Ip and have better connection. Maybe after that player.exe is checking another Ip and port but because we have shut off the proxy it stops.
Here is the test: I will run Afreeca with the old method. Once the player is launched I will leave it with the korean Ip on. If it does not stop after some time then I will snoop all the ports and try to realize if afreeca connects to something else. But if it the player stop responding even with korean IP on, then I don't know........
I will post the results later!

Hey, can you guys tell me something. I am trying to figure out why afreeca disconnect after certain time. First, I want to ask you after what time it stop responding - 5, 10, 15 minutes? Also, does it stop working always after this time or everytime is different?
As I mentioned before the player.exe needs just 222.233.54.57:3456 to be proxified with korean proxy. Then everything loads very fast but looking at the Proxifier statistics I see that the connection with this Ip stops and you cannot play channels.
First I tought it might be a bug in Profixier but I tried the trick with another program for proxifing and it acts exactly the same.
Another reason might be that player.exe uses another Ip than 223.233.54.57 to recheck if it uses korean proxy but even if I proxify everything(iexplorer, player.exe, all the ports) the player stop responding and this happans exactly when I see in proxifier statistics that the connection with 222.233.54.57:3456 is closed.
Then, the question is what makes the conenction with this Ip to be closed? Is it possible that the korean proxies we use stay active only for a certain time? I mean they are still alive at the time the player stop function correctly. I think if we use a proxy it have to work good till its not alive. Do you think it might depends on what kind of proxies are used - transperant, anonymous, highly anonimous, HTTP proxies, socks4, socks5 proxies etc. I don't understand much of them so if someone knows more about proxies let's share their opinions.

Yeah, I will test this tomorrow again. I didn't find a way around it, if you stay at 1 channels it goes all fine, but if you want to switch after a while it starts giving problems. I will clock it tomorrow a bit to see when it happens.

This site is constantly updated with new proxy servers. 8 / 10 servers work, at least Swedish ones. I tried 2 korean and 1 worked for me, and it is almost as fast as when I dont use a proxy server at all! Sick!
Just press proxy list to the left and you'll get a list. then search for korea, and most of them will work.

You don't need a fast proxy. Proxifing 223.233.54.57:3456 with any working korean proxy (even slow one) is good enough to start afreeca. Then the player use your real Ip to connect to the channels.

Kardinal : Got Afreeca on today, only loaded 1 channel, disconnected from it, left it running and after a while (about 15 min) I did get the "ok" message, after it I couldn't select anything anymore.
Seems like it's just after a several amount of time when it shows up :o Before I tried loading aout 8 channels, still after a while I did get the message. Even when running a channel, watching it --> message popped up. I can jst go on watching, but selecting another channel won't work anymore then.
Hopefully others can also report when they did get this message, we might get known what causes it...

I don't know if this has been covered (i haven't seen it anywhere), but does anybody know another piece of software other than Proxifier? My 31 day trial has finished and i can't use it anymore.
As i have never been able to get Afrika working i'm not willing to buy software until i can get it working.
Maybe Kardinal knows why , I;m not an expert on Proxifier , he might be able to help you better ;)

If you add a proxy, you see it's selected. If you got there to add a proxy again, you can also unselect the proxy there. that's what I call the untick. So in that list, you see the proxies you added. If you selected it, it works. If you unselect it, internet works like it normally does.
The trick for Afreeca is : Select the proxy and press ok --> press the blue button on Afreeca page --> when you see you get past the Yes/No message and the Afreeca player is loaded, unselect the proxy --> press ok again ; Afreeca will work ; Internet will work, Enjoy!

Admin, I wrote to the proxifier support team about our problem but they seems are not able to help. I have timed Afreeca too - it stop working usually after 10-15 minutes, it differs all the time, but never working more then 15 minutes. By the way did you try my new method. I use it now all the time and its pretty fast. Just proxify player.exe and Ip 222.233.54.57:3456 . This way after afreeca disconnet I can login and start the player for less then a minute.
Everyone is asking questions but noone is trying to help with figuring out what might be the problem after 15 minutes.
ADMIN, do you get the message after 15 minutes in korean language. All i see is a popup window with weird symbols. I guess I have not installed the korean language correctly. If you got the message in korean please send me an image so at least I can figure out what it says. My only idea is that afreeca send some kind of request to the korean proxies that we use and get no response, thats why it disconnect from it. This proxies may have something like a timeout?

Sportsfanatic, how did you configure proxifier. How do you expect to help you only by telling that yout internet connection is down. Give details. after you close proxifier do you have conenction with internet?
Some people asking for another soft that help with afreeca. There is one more but it's trial too. C'mon people you don't know where to find cracked software?
Anyway, here it is. The name of it is PROXYCAP. !!!But if you install it you cannot use proxifier. You have to have either proxifier or proxycap . You can always switch between them.!!!

Instuctions after you start proxycap:
1. Right click on the proxycap and select preferences.
2. Select "proxies" and then the first icon in the top right corner - new proxy server
3. Put your korean proxy . Make sure its "http type" .
you can repeat step 2 and 3 and put as many proxies as you want, so if one is now working you can choose other in step 4
4. From the "rules" menu select "new tunneling rule"
rule type - tunneling trough proxy
proxy server - choose the proxy server you want
application - specify, select player.exe from your afreeca instalation directory
protocol - tcp
destination IP range - specify, put Ip 222.233.54.57 , port specify 3456
5. click Ok
If your proxy is working you will run afreeca the same way you do it with proxifier. One more time make sure you have just one installed - proxifier or proxycap. If you install proxycap, proxifier will stop working. In order to get it working back just start netconfig from proxifier directory, so you don't have to install it again. This one will disable proxycap form working. Reinstall it and you can switch to it.

Yeah, you just need to connect again, close Afreeca, start it up again and you can enjoy it. If you stay in one channel it isn't a problem, only switching can't :(
