Remember: Nothing streamed is true HD even if its taken from a HD source, it will be good quality but not HD...;)

What do you mean by "HD PCI tv tuner connecting to my cable digibox"? You canīt connect a set-top box to a pci-card. You just put a coaxial-cable right into the pci-card.

Iīm using a technisat cablestar hd2 and it works great. AFAIK the Digital Everywhere FloppyDTV is still considered to be the best card (expensive, though).

I recommend TBS DVB-C cards. It is not expensive but well-performance.

most cards works fine, i test hauppauge, terratec/cinergy and no name products. the better question is, what codecs and what software do you use ...
