Iolo System Mechanic - WARNING!!!

After using a free version of this posted on here over a year ago and being totally happy with it, when the license expired, I paid for another year's subscription.

Since then I noticed my pc getting slower and slower and tonight, system mechanic refused to open and gave me a lot of error notices.

I googled this problem and found it is a well known problem and that system mechanic seems to be a scam!!! Get to you pay for it, after your free trial and then it will stop working and they want MORE money to fix the problem!!!!

Have now deleted it using CCleaner and hopefully I'm rid of it. (Windows search found no files, after deletion).

Really pissed off, as this was a great tool whilst it worked. Pissed off too, that I actually PAID for it, when the freebie trial ran out.

Avoid IOLO System Mechanic like the plague!

Going to go back to Iobit System Care, as it was always reliable - although system mechanic was better and had better features - WHEN it was working. GRRRR.

You live and learn
