Default May 17th: Three simultaneous broadcasts of boxing..... Lets vote!

Ok, the dipshit powers that be have decided to compete with one another in a rare 3-card simultaneous broadcast.

the first, HBO, is a showcase of prospects. so if you do not know who is going to win, just look at the guy with the fewest number of total fights....thats who is going to win. although the outcomes are inevitable, if you havent seen Yuriorkis Gamboa, this kid is going to be a "draw". (noticed i said, "draw", and nothing else)

the second, a Top Rank PPV brought to you by fatty magee, is having Jorge Arce vs. some dude whose name i am going to have to right-click, copy, and paste......Devid Lookmahanak.......cuz i cant spell that shit.

and the third is a unification fight between Cristian Mijares vs. Alexander Munoz. and ive heard that Humberto Soto vs. Francisco Lorenzo has been added to the card!

in case you havent caught the demeanor in my post, i am leaning towards the Mijares/Munoz fight, probably going to be the most explosive fight out of all the fights on all three cards. however, my brother is an Arce fan.

    so whats everybody else thinking?

A little help from a friend!!

(HBO) James Kirkland (21-0) vs. Eromosele Albert (21-1)
(HBO) Yuriorkis Gamboa (9-0) vs. Darling Jimenez (23-2-2)
(HBO) Alfredo Angulo (12-0) vs. Richard Gutierrez (24-1)

    PPV I
(PPV) Jorge Arce (48-4-1) vs. Devid Lookmahanak (18-1)
(The Ring Magazine #5 Jr. Bantamweight vs. Unranked)
(PPV) Ulises Solis (26-1-2) vs. Glenn Donaire (16-3-1)
(The Ring Magazine #1 Jr. Flyweight vs. Unranked)
    (IBF Jr. Flyweight belt)
(PPV) Humberto Gutierrez (22-0-1) vs. Efren Hinojosa (29-4-1)
NEW (PPV) Brandon Rios (16-0) vs. Ricardo Dominguez (24-3)
NEW Brian Viloria (21-2-1) vs. TBA (May not be televised)

    PPV II
(PPV) Cristian Mijares (34-3-2) vs. Alexander Munoz (32-2)
(The Ring Magazine #3 Jr. Bantamweight vs. #2)
(WBC and WBA Jr. Bantamweight belts)

(PPV) Omar Salado (19-0-2) vs. Julio Miranda (25-3-1)
(The Ring Magazine #6 Jr. Flyweight vs. Unranked)

Here are the matches on each card that should be televised. May help in voting. Personally I like the Arce card overall, but the Cristian Mijares vs. Munoz fight should be a kick!

Put me down for PPV I

    Anyone streaming
Rene Dettweiler (22-1) vs. Cengiz Koc (23-3)
Michael Marrone (18-0) vs. Francesco Pianeta (15-0)

    From Germany the same day?

    Thanks!!

Looked on boxrec for this Lookmahanak guy, seems he's fought no-one, never left Thailand. I understand there r Arce fans but in terms of competitive, meaningful fights, i go with the Mijares-Munoz card. Keep up the good work sportinwood

Mijares-Munoz is the most meaningful and biggest fight of the night, but the HBO card is possibily the most solid overall and will produce the most excitement. Tough Call

    Cool

My vote goes for Mijares-Munoz... It's a unification bout with 2 of the top 3 guys from the div. which will put us 1 step closer to having "1" Champion. With the winner possibly fighting "Cochulito" Montiel. I think Mijares will win this fight and will surprise a lot of people. By the end of Mijares career I can see his name being mentioned along the lines of Gilberto Roman, Khaosai Galaxy.

I'd also like to mention that the "Archie" Solis vs. Donaire fight from PPV1 has been CANCELLED. I repeat the fight has been CANCELLED....

Added to the card has been "Archies" brother Jorge Solis whos more known for loosing to Pacquiao in 2007.

Thanks in advanced Sportin and the fact that your asking us what we would like to see shows the class of guy you are...

Hey, I have changed my mind after reviewing the current backgrounds of all of the matches on the cards.

Mijares-Munoz is the card of my choice at this point

My vote would be for HBO show with undefeated prospects I understand though that this is on here Live boxing stream so I will vote for Jorge Arce fight. I am not sure that more than one stream can be watched at same time though maybe I am being too greedy.

Gotta go with the HBO card first.

It's not as clear as it looks, all the prospects are actually fighting SOLID fighters, not "solid but will lose" fighters. All of the prospects can end up losing or winning. Gutierrez only lost to Josh Clottey, Albert and Jimenez are good B-Competition.

Second choice definitely Mijares-Munoz, they're the top of the division and the undercard looks good too. It features unknowns but they all have good records and the fights can go any way.

Third choice Arce card. Arce already fought a no-name on one of the Latin Fury cards and knocked him out in one- this guy is even worse than that guy. That and the only decent undercard fight isn't being fought due to a late injury. It won't be Ulises Solis fighting, it'll be his brother now.

anybody can show hbo undercard and sportin wood can show mijares-muņoz. Then the thing is clear.

In case not, i prefer mijares-muņoz fight.

I vote for HBO, it has 3 solid fights for sure.

The Mijares/Munoz fight is a great fight, and I would like to see it, but it is really the only good fight on that card, and I can always download the Mijares fight tomorrow.

I like Arce, but he is not even in the running.

Gamboa is the future of the super featherweight divison.

Gomboa for hbo for me aswell, the mijarez-munoz fight will be boring.
