Anyone know what is going on tomorrow with regards to coverage in the UK?


That document says BBC3 but there is nothing on BBC3 tomorrow.

And on Tuesday (I think it was) I've seen reports of the BBC having it shown on the 'Red Button'.

The reports say it will be shown 4 till 6:30, but on the BBC website it says 5 til 7:30.


Even more confusing... the Doha website says that it's Live from 7PM, but the first event starts at 6:30...

If that is UK time then the BBC site is wrong?

BBC3 but not all events live, many tv channels seem to only show SOME events and not all 14 meetings. And even might be, that when they show it, they show not the full meeting but only parts of it.

So it is confusing, you can always tune in to some online channels ( Doha: http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?ma...24&part=sports) to see if they show it

The final update regarding race start times and those competing is announced this evening. The times that I saw on the website did say 1600 GMT on the red button. So the start time is 1700 BST. Hope that clears things up.

It's an interesting weekend for the BBC regarding athletics. Apart from Doha BBC2 on Saturday has a documentary by Michael Johnson on Usain Bolt. On Sunday they are showing the Manchester City races event with Tyson gay hoping to break the world record for a straight 200m and then on Tuesday they are showing Usain Bolt's first track sprint race live (on the red button)

The legend that is Usain Bolt is attempting to break Michael Johnson's 300m world best in Ostrava this coming Thursday (27th May). Unfortunately it is not a European Permit Meet event and there for I do not know if it is on TV. Is there anyone with knowledge of Ostravian (if that is the correct terminology) TV who could help us find a stream of this rarely run event?

Tomorrow is day 2 of the IAAF Multi event challenge called the Hypomeeting from Gotzis. Traditionally this meet brings out the best multi eventers on the planet. At the end of day 1 Jess Ennis has a 277 point lead over Hayles Fountain. As I understand a stream is being provided by TW1 is there any chance we could get either a universal link or the mms for day 2?
