Not your problem, TVU can't handle the load and many people it seems ;(
Same issue as sopcast but then completely down. We need to wait untill it get's solved.

i have sopcast and tvants, but was thinking of downloading tvu to increase my options, but i was wondering if it is any good?

i have windows vista.

any opinions from people who have it would be great, is it worth installing?

Its a very good application very stable, depending on streams, what sport your after? tvu has quite a lot of football streams which are good

Sopcast,TVU and TVAnts are worth installing

TVU:
you like CBS? Star Sports? Fox Soccer Channel? Speed (Motorsports Channel) MMATV, GolTV and also private streamers like Danish Delight and VP5 sometimes
usually its a good program

thanks for the advice, its mainly for football but i like all sports (except synchronised swimming ). i think i will give it a go.....

I agree with the other posters. When tvu works it is very stable and has lots of channels.
If its football your into may I suggest when you watch a soccer channel you add it to your tvu favouries as I do. The reason for this is sometimes channels are only on now and then so its easier to check your favourites thhan trawl through all the channels.
F.S.C. (fox soccer channel) s always on tvu (called simply - soccer) and also gol tv (football) - 2 fantastic channels which blow sky sports out the water if its footy you want!

TVU is beginning to disconnect my internet conection whenever I start it. I have to use the repair option in my network setup to get it to work again. So is anyone else experiencing this, and is there a way to fix it?

It probably uses your internet connection 99% so you get the best picture and smooth stream. You're sure you haven't got any other p2p programs running, like torrents, downloads or other stuff? If you've got, please close them first.

close all p2p programs and restart it... maybe as admin say their use 99% of your connection.

Also here sometimes happens this.

I received a message from TVU to upgrade it. Now every time I click to open TVU, it opens for about 2 seconds then quits.

It worked ok before the upgrade. I have made sure no other programs are running as you advised Admin.

here too, i do the upgrade, it opens for 3 secs and then goes to close

for me the player crashes at least 10 times during a football match. I have experienced this just lately with the new version. I will install some older version and report back if it still keeps crashing.

Yep, here too . Version 2.3.7.1 crashes everytime. At first it works, but when I try it later on, it keeps crashing so I've gone back to 2.3.6.1.
