Hi, I've been watching films on PPStream for a year or so now, both directly on their web site and thru their program. For a couple of weeks now when I try and watch something from their web site I get the first 15 seconds of advertising ok, then it all stops and I get the PPStream Panda logo with question marks on the top. Same goes for live tv etc. I can still however watch some films by using their program and clicking on the films on the left hand side but nothing directly from their web site or in streaming. I'm using XP and WMP9. Any suggestions? Thanks. Mike.

hi i downloaded the ppstream yesterday but im not able to load anything on the pps or even the website..the website just keep telling me to install pps..i don't know what realli happen..is it because im using Vista? it seems tat my XP pc has no such problems.

should be fine on Vista and XP , normally clicking a links starts ppstream and makes a channel loading in less then 20 seconds.

I was wondering how do you change from Mandarin to Cantonese in PPstream...
Because when I watch hong kong videos they're always in Mandarin I know the show can be watched in Cantonese because I saw it in Canto.

My pps stream cant load the channel it says some plug in (.) is missing?!!

its working for me, but what i see the PPStream Channelist is again avaible, its long ago the Channelist was removed for some countrys?

But when start play a Channel the Channel list is removed, you must restart to see again the Channellist.

Edit:

Seems now non VIP users will be blocked when want watch a PPStream Live Streams.

I use PPSTREAM and it comes up with an error message which reads: "The file you are attempting to play has an extension (.) which does not match the format. Playing the file may result in unexpected behaviour.

Do you want the Player to try play the content? "

i click yes and it doesn't work. This is a brand new laptop with windows 7 and the latest media player, i've also downloaded VLC player and Winamp, it still doesn't work.

Any ideas how to fix this problem?! it's driving me crazy!

i'm facing some problems with my PPStream. i can't read the channels, the display of all channels are ??????. what do i need in order to correct them? any help???

To read the character properly, you may need to download "NJStar Communicator".

You may need to scroll down to find the Cantonese Version. Only available direct from their website but not from the engine.

i'm having the problem as others....
can't read the chinese characters on the left panel of ppstream.
but...i'm using windows xp, what ways can be done? any chinese software needed?
i used to have chinese star, it worked. but, i couldn't find that program already.
installing NJstar communicator doesn't help too...how?!?!!!

You mean to translate the channels or to see the channels in the chinese characters? Often it's an trial and error if you want to find movies or series on it, unless you can read Chinese.

erm...yes...but...i managed to read it using chinese xp before....hm...
do you know where to get the software online? i couldn't find it....trial and error is so...troublesome..lol. but anyway, thanks for replying...

Installing the chinese language pack should display it in chinese characters, or doesn't that help?

i've installed NJ star n the microsoft language pack-the chinese PRC, settings done in control panel. it reads chinese characters, but not those characters on the left panel of the PPStream. the right panel's characters can be read. it's so weird...hmm...any more ideas how to solve this? i can read chinese. but, i do need to know what movies or tv shows they have, so that i can choose, right?

How can I get my computer to recognize ppstream:// ? I've fully installed the program, but when I click on links, be it in Firefox or Explorer, it says it doesn't recognize that prefix and doesn't give me the option to browse for it. I have Vista.

Does work fine here with Vista SP2, also with XP and others. Might be a problem with your browser, normally DMW knows a bit how to fix it. Reinstalling didn't fix it?

I have not used PPStream in a while but it should be like all the other p2p streaming software. In firefox goto Tools > Options > Applictions on the left named "Content Type" look for ppstream:// and on the right "Action" choose ppstream player(Default) or something like that and now ppstream will be reconized by firefox.

Hi. I have just downloaded and started using ppstream. HOwever, when I am downloading a show, my internet become really slow and i am unable to log on to other websites and I will get signed out of msn even. Is there a way I can resolve this?
