This thread should get a sticky (hint hint ) so it's available when people need a backup if feeds go down or a stadium loses power like the Chargers/Bills game. Video was gone but the radio was still getting the play by play feed over the phone. If you're outside the US many radio links won't work unless you register as military or something. But not all sites do that and you can always find at least one good broadcast.

Here's two good sites, the second has some different links from the post above:

FSB by Fullervision - NFL Radio - CFL Video
    National Football League (NFL)

If you are a Charger fan or a team playing the Chargers here's a few more sites that aren't listed in the above post or at thegamelive:

    KTMQ Temecula/Riverside/San Bernardino 103.3 FM
KLAC Los Angeles Orange County 570 AM
    KGEO Bakersfield 1230 AM
    KNWH Yucca Valley 1250 AM
    KNWQ Palm Springs 1140 AM
    KNWZ Coachella Valley 970 AM
    KOSS Palmdale/Lancaster 1380 AM
    KWDJ Ridgecrest 1360 AM
    KWWN Las Vegas 1100 AM
    XHFG San Diego/Tijuana 107.3 FM

Eagles links point to Texas based radio stations. In fact, they are the exact same stations that are listed for the Cowboys.

Hey all, would just like to ask that you guys help us out for this upcoming season. If you find that one of the radio links for your team is not working, know the station doesn't broadcast games, or know of a station that does, please post in the thread and let us know. Let's all help each other out!

just a heads up regarding nfl on (p2p) radio...
i plan to have radio coverage of as many sunday night & monday games on my streamtorrent radio station as possible, as well as the occasional sunday day game.
of course, i'll post in the streaming thread each week which games i'll be doing for tv and/or radio.

agreed... let's get some more p2p radio going! all it takes is any ol' kind of am/fm radio (i use a little battery powered transistor,) a soundcard, and a cable to connect the two. am sports radio, encoded to 44.1kHz and 32kbps (mono) will make a fairly faithful reproduction of the original radio signal: and you only need 96k of upload bandwidth to seed the stream!

(and you could even go down to 24kbps in a pinch. you want to keep the sampling rate high (44.1 kHz minimum) and i would recommend a minimum of 24kbps per channel. so, if you wanted to keep the channel separation for fm broadcasts in stereo, probably 44.1 kHz and 48kbps, still only requires 144k upload to stream. don't know if there are too many fm sports stations, though...we have one here in my town, but it broadcasts in mono anyway, so i just use the same settings as for my am radio streams.)

I would also love if people did low bitrate stream rips of games so I could throw them on my iPod here and there to re-listen.

    Especially Packers games.

@Luckyone.. the stations listed for the Steelers are correct. Wdve is the flagship station. But what usually happens they give you the feed until kickoff and then they cut if off. Obviously they want you to subscribe to Nfl Gameday Audio. But the Steeler network has many other stations in their network. And i usually come across a very obscure station in my search that has not been targeted. If and when i do i will gladly post it.

    exactly right, crazy.
that's exactly what happens on wdve's web stream. 1460 AM in Columbus, OH does something similar on buckeye game-days: they give you a streaming simulcast of the radio station right up to kick-off, talking about "we'll be right back with the kick-off," and then launching into sportscenter radio!

a few years ago, i never missed a steeler or buckeye game due to more open internet radio. you could stream kdka straight from steelers.com! but then they decided to start gouging for it. (yeah, i'm gonna pay for radio...)

I hear ya Miahjj. But i am like a dog with a bone when i need a broadcast. So when the time comes i will try my best to find something that hasn,t been tampered with. And if i happen to succeed , i will gladly pass on the info.

if you do find an internet stream, it would be best to share it privately with a streamer so we can clone it on stream torrent.

the reason i say this is because a few days ago, someone in the mlb forum found a working web link to a station on the reds radio network (WATH in athens, ohio.) i checked the link--an mms:// link--and sure enough it was reds radio. the next day, and every day after, they played reds pre-game, but when it was game-time the webcast switched to some music, and an announcer said, "we'll get you back to WATH simulcast after our game." so obviously, the station was just simulcasting its over-the-air signal onto the web until mlb caught wind of it (presumably due to the post in the mlb streaming forum.)

so the safest strategy if you find a working web radio link is to clone it to streamtorrent (or TvAnts) where the streamer can hide the source url...then the league won't know if it's coming from the web or from someone's am/fm radio!

Hey! Is there anyway I can listen to the Eagles Merrill Reese from WYSP 94.1 fm and sync it up with the TV broadcast so I don't have to listen to that whiny little turd Joe Buck. I can usually get both feeds going but syncing them up is my problem.
Thanks for your suggestions. Let's go Iggles!

in the old days of analog broadcasting, this wasn't much of a prob (since both the radio & tv signals left the stadium simultaneously, traveling at the speed of light, they were never off by more than a fraction of a second.) in the digital age, however, this is a real headache! due to encoding/decoding/transcoding/buffering at many levels in the "broadcast" chain, you're damn lucky these days to ever find a tv & radio feed of the same game that time out--and if they do, it's pure dumb luck!

that being said, i know there is a way in vlc to artificially delay the audio to make it synch up to the video. i've never tried this myself, however. you'll have to pipe the tv video and radio audio into vlc, and there is a setting for audio delay (in milliseconds.)

if you do give this a shot, let me know how it works out...cuz i'm with you: i'd rather hear a 90 year-old stroke victim with an indian accent than that moron/racist joe buck! (and radio announcers are just better, in general, because they actually pay attention to the game. what a novel idea! have you ever noticed how a lot of the tv "play-by-play" guys these days are steadily confused about what happens on the field? it's because retards like joe buck, mike tirico, sean mcdunna, et.al. are too busy pitching nascar and the new season of camp rock and dancing with the stars to actually be watching the game! their primary job is to act as a network "pitchman" and, secondarily, to act like know-it-alls. at least most radio commentators are into the game, and not so worried about who's baby mama got arrested, etc...)

Just a FYI. The Steeler website(steelers.com) streamed the opener via the flagship station WDVE. I was shaky at the start , but once they worked the bugs out, it was smooth. I am pretty sure that they stated that the entire season was going to be covered. I will believe it when i hear it lol.

Another FYI. It seems like the steeler website was telling the truth so far. Last Sunday's game was also streamed. I wont be around this Sunday vs the Bucs because i will BE THERE, along with another 24.999 crazy ass steeler fans. So if somebody streams it again on via the website, please post it..thanks.

Well Miahjj, i guess i can say its official now if steeler fans didn,t already know. Looks like the website will be streaming audio all year long. Like i said in a earlier post, the first week had issues, but since then they have ironed that out. I am happy because now i don,t have to search the universe for a stream. There is a god! LOL!

boy, i wish i'd have thought about that earlier today i struggled through a newbie's stop-motion animation stream today. he just tried to do too high of a bitrate. next week, i think i'll get to see them on cbs--but for every other week i'm just gonna go for the radio! thanks for the heads up. (it is at steelers.com, right?)

Correct Miahjj..steelers.com. Once on home page the center picture changes and you will see the radio prompt. Next week game against the Fish is NOT on were i am(Tampa bay area), due to some asshole NFL rule. If you get it ...enjoy it. Talk later, and your welcome.

Did anyone figure out where you can stream eagles games? The ones listed up there are for the cowboys.
