Getting Pienaar back is a MASSIVE boost for us... we are a different team with him in it.

Brilliant news i say,not as good a player as some say and non of this potential rubbish as he has had his chance and is always injured, city must have a screw lose to want him, probably a change of club was needed, twice as much we get for him than i would pay.

still shocked that it's happened. Not worried about the team, curious as to how much were getting. Doubt it's that much since it's undisclosed but no doubt the rumour mill will be in full flow this time tomorrow. If it's used wisely then not too bothered, but I would never have predicted that, particular as he's just got an England call up, would have thought he'd be happy, rather than want to go sit on the bench at City.

Maybe he's going to stay with us on loan?

£15M plus add-ons for a player that has done very little for two seasons and is injury prone has to be decent business. I thought he was the future but there has been no progress and if anything he has gone backwards.

If the money is going to the bank then I would rather lose Rodwell than any of our other top players. If the money is re-invested in the team then fantastic.

We are pretty well covered in midfield anyway and have young Ross Barkley coming through who I think will be a better player than Rodwell anyway.

Its sad to see any Everton youth system player leave, but Moyes knows what he's doing, or what he has to do to keep us afloat AND competitive...

Now you certainly expect Champions League soccer after giving away Rodwell...

Looks a really exciting player - good dribbler, has pace and knows how to finish...

They call him the Belgian Ronaldo !!

I so comfortable and exciting about the coming season, that I am even happy to watch Rodwell playing for City today.

    Bring on United!

Rodwell is just doing what anyone could do - jog around and occaisionally pass it 5 yds to one of their great front five ..

He wont develop much doing that every week.
