Should be loads of live streams for the QPR game as there are only three 3 o'clock kick-off's on Saturday... and one of them is Swansea v Wigan

    Aston Villa v Blackburn, 15:00
    Everton v QPR, 15:00
    Swansea v Wigan, 15:00

yep was thinking the same earlier, it's currently listed as on Setanta Ireland and FSC in the US so should be plenty of decent options. Having just posted a thread in football chat about the picks made for live tv in the UK, there are times when not having your game picked results in a better chance of a top stream on here for the 3pm ko.

I've just had the strange feeling we are going to over perform this season and surprise a few people.

who though? not sure there are any that we'd want.. plus if another Roman came along, Moyes would probably get the boot?

Just watched Moyes pre-match taking a lot of questions on finances, well impressed with our manager without him I think things would be a lot lot worse.

Well thank God the Season is actually starting for us on Saturday and all this finances/transfer/blueunion stuff can be put to one side and we can finally concentrate on the FOOTBALL !!

I know its been frustrating this Summer with us not able to buy, but we do still have a very decent first team squad (and some promising young players) that can do us proud.

The doom and gloom brigade need to see that things can be so different if we can just get a bit of good luck for an change, avoid injuries, get some wins and points on the board early and the players start flying, full of confidence.

If at least half of our best team are wanted by top Clubs then they must be capable of doing the business for us.

    COYB !!

Default Good deal for the mighty Blues

ARSENE WENGER was last night trying to tie up a deal for Everton star Mikel Arteta – with Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner set to head for Goodison Park in a shock swap deal.

And long-term target Gary Cahill has indicated he would like to join the Gunners, but Bolton will demand £17million before they will do business.

Arsenal boss Wenger sees midfielder Arteta as the perfect replacement for departed skipper Cesc Fabregas.

Contact has been made between the clubs but Everton manager David Moyes is fighting hard to keep his squad intact before the transfer window closes.

Losing the creative talents of 29-year-old Spaniard Arteta would certainly be a major blow.

But his departure would be softened if Danish striker Bendtner, 23, goes in the opposite direction. If the swap deal fails to come off, Wenger is willing to pay around £9m for Arteta, signed by Everton from Real Sociedad in 2005 for just £2m.

Wenger would also like to sign Everton’s Belgian midfield enforcer Marouane Fellaini but Everton would not allow that to happen.

But with Moyes keen to beef up his attack, the possibility of landing Bendtner – who is also a target for Sunderland – is an appealing prospect even though he values Arteta highly.

Now that would be a good deal, Bendtner for Arteta, what do you think uggla ?

Ha see it must be april 1st again, thought he was going to some other team weeks ago anyway, the problem with everton is we hardly create anything so having a froward means nothing if no one makes anything for them to score etc,i could go on but i wont lol

As with a few of our rejects their wages are a stumbling block when it comes to getting rid of them, I can't see this deal ever going through but you never know, Oh you can have Big Al as well

I was in a bit of shock at the pace of departures yesterday. But the more I think about it, the better it seems..

We've needed two things, a decent striker and a pacy winger, preferably left sided. We've had no money to spend..

So, Beckford and Yak, both less than inspiring at best, bank a few quid and swap wages for the new boys. Arteta hasn't been firing properly in ages, so £10m is probably a good sell. Hopefully losing his near £4m wages from the bill, along with yak's £2.5m, the bank should be content to let us use the money in Jan, or most of it at least.

In the meantime, Baines takes all the free kicks.

Midfield options abound, with Felli, Rodwell, Cahill, Barkley, Osman, Heitinga all useful in different situations in the premier league. Coleman and Drenthe on the wings, with others able to fall in there such as Anichebe. And a shiny new striker to slot in the middle, with Saha a useful back up when fit. Defensively we'd sorted.. What's to worry? This could be the start of something good, you heard it here first.

I am not bothered one single bit about Arteta leaving myself, hes been very very average for over a year and has not really done what he is suppose to do and set
chances etc up just a little surprised we didnt get a bit more for him, sometimes just like rodwell its like hes not on the pitch,And i 100% would have kept Beckford out of the forwards we have as he does more than the others for me,hes misses chances yeah but at least he makes them and half the time he does it himself, saha is just to lazy and will be injured again soon just like he got injured last friday in training but he should be back for villa game
