he first pre-season game at SJP has been announced - but United won't be participating, as the stadium hosts a replay of the Italia 1990 England v Germany game.

Players from the original game in Turin will be joined by other football personalities and celebrity ringers, with the Sir Bobby Robson Trophy up for grabs.

The kickabout is scheduled for Sunday July 26th and all monies raise will go to benefit the work of the cancer research unit at Newcastle's Freeman Hospital of which the former Newcastle and England boss is patron.
