Using Vista operating system and when i use a link to open a sopcast channel, the sopcast program opens but loads my last viewed channel and the link doesnt go thru. I then have to go to the channel tab, find the channel that the link was meant for double click on that and it loads into the viewer. When i went to watch a game on VP2 nothing happenned when I double clicked that group, i.e. the VP2 channel group neither opened in the tab or loaded into the viewer.

    Need to resolve two things:

    1. When I click on a link Id like the link to load directly into the viewer, bypassing the need to go to the channel tab.

    2. How can I open or view the channels in VP2?

    Thnks to all

    1) it's probably due to Vista
    2) Use the direct links, it's the only way yet, can't help you with that...

So you'd better get back to XP or use WMp10 instead of 11...

Try clicking on the myp2p link AFTER sopcast is already open. I have a similar problem (it started a few weeks ago), but clicking on the myp2p link with sopcast already running seems to do the trick. :)

Thanks for your input eash of you.

Admin: Sopcast working on a vista upgrade or patch or something?

Rich: I tried your suggestion yesterday, but it seems my sopcats reopens each and every time I click on a link, even if I leave sopcast open.

Fortunetly I have XP on my desk top and wont be upgrading it any time soon, and vista only on my laptop.

    Thanks again

Vista is just not compatible with many P2P programs and stuff, so it could give problems. It's smarter to stay on XP yet, I guess everything will work sooner or later with Vista but right now it gives too much problems. (That;s my conclusion out of some replies, questions and posts I did read).
