Help with Installing Sopcast

Hi, I'm new here. This is my first post.

I was hoping someone could help as soon as possible so I could watch the Sharks/Wings game tonight.

When I'm installing Sopcast, it gets to about 75% and it says:


Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program C:\Windows\Desktop\Setup-Sopcast-1.1.2-2007-04-20.exe


This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unsual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Let me add:

I've never had Sopcast on my computer before either. After it wouldn't install, I deleted everything that had to do with Sopcast, after that, I restarted my computer and installed Sopcast (the new one) and it still did the same thing.

Try downloading latest version of Sopcast again.

I'll look into making an SFX package or something for people who experience problems. Its not that hard, really.

What would do that? Make it easier for us having problems? If so, that'd be awesome.

Is it possible that there's something not compatible with it?

Do you have win98/me O.S.?
I had same problem using winme. Then i instaled win2000 and sopcast runs perfectly.
