    hi,

sorry guys i have 2 questions, maybe u can help me out.

1: the links from websites do not open the channels in sopcast but just the sopcast program itself.

2: In my program list there is no vp1 or viper tv. even when i sort by channel id i cannot find it.

i would appreciate it if u have some useful insights into this. i need to watch nba!!!! ;)

it should start the channel, if not click on the arrow on the right top inside Sopcast and it will open the window.

that doesnt work for me but thanks anyways...

searching this forum i found out that i can use a trick to overcome that problem: i just copy the link adress into the adress bar of sopcast at the top. I still wonder if there is a more complete solution why the links dont work for me... until then i will just have to copy-paste...

sopcast myp2p links dont open for me either,it just opens up sopcast prog and all that shows in the sopcast address bar is the last channel you were watching last and the same thing happens if you open sopcast first then click on the myp2p link it does not transfer the link address to sopcast address bar.
iam running sopcast 1.1.2 vista,ie7 and wmp11. maybe a vista or ie7 issue with myp2p sopcast links??
if you choose a channel manually it works fine.but that can be a bit of a pain because some channels are not listed in the sopcast channel list and you cannot copy and paste myp2p links.

i know left clicking is impossible on myp2p but u can overcome that by looking on the status bar at the bottom of your browser. when you move your mouse over the link it shows the link adress at the bottom left. unfortunately u have to copy it by hand from there. you have to have the status bar enabled in your browser. i dont know about vista but for xp it seems the problem is if you work on an account which doesnt have administrative rights.

So i have managed the link problem somehow but i still wonder why vp1 or viper tv will not show up in the program list, even when you are watching the channel.

Sorry that it is a bit off topic. But what is the deal with this? Do you guys know that you can disable javascript and you can actually right click.. I don't see the point on it apart from poor usability.
