Afreeca is the best program for me, I have too often buffering problems in others.

I know that there are other ones who also like Afreeca a lot, so we have to start to find out what every button does on Afreeca, even it is on Korean language :P

Lets also solve quick key combinations:
Alt+T put the Afreeca player to "Always on top" mode.


I'm not sure do you like about this idea, but please post comments here and if you are interested about Afreeca solve some buttons and made picture of them!

but I don't see the Korean signs , can anyone give me some info on how to get it or do I need to Download the Korean language?

Hey thanks skulls and Admin! I will edit them to "Collection".

Admin: For me it asks in IE do I want to download Korean language or something like it, sometimes. Maybe you can find Korean language patch from M$ website?

yeah I will take a look , I know almost all buttons now in afreeca, only the ones like "set in ranking order" are impossible to see because I can't see the korean language .

I wish that you could turn off the buffer/loading screen. I find it less distracting just having it buffer and lag than to have that screen come up. I usually just pause and play real quick so that it pauses on the game instead of that loading screen.

Well it looks like Afreeca updated recently (I don't remember exactly when), but there's a nice little sidebar feature that sorts all the channels in to different categories. I used Babelfish to translate all the category names and made a graphic with all the literal translations.



Most are pretty obvious except for the sports category which translates to "Remote hookup"...wierd. Sports is the bottom category...I guess that's all we really need to know. So anyway, this might be useful to find games that aren't tagged with "mlb" or similar.

Glad I'm not the only one - the past couple days, nothing buy mystery error messages every time I try to open the player.

Well, I have no clue what the error means. Does anyone have an image of the popup windows because the one I have are not even in korean but some wierd symbols.
I will try to seach in the afreeca forums to see what the problem might be

truck23 - that's it exactly! Plus there's the first window that comes up which is a bunch of little squares around "BJ" - whatever that means. And they all have that error message exclamation mark.

I am watching afreeca forum and few people complain about the same problem. I think they are koreans who are trying to watch from outside Korea. So far they are no replays about how to solve this problem. I will keep an eye on the forum if someone suggest a solution.
To me it seems that the player cannot update some of it componets - something related with the XML datebase, probably the new skin that they recently put. I dont think it's connected with the IP restrictions for people outside korea because using proxifier it's like being a korean user. Unless, they have introdused some kind of new restrictions.
Anyways, DAUM POTPLAYER soon will be better then Afreeca ( basically it seems like it uses a lot of afreeca interfaces and techology plus the integrated GOM player). Hopefully, they will improve the buffering problems and the number of users will increase soon.
