Would it be possible as i currently have Sky+ (tele is HD Ready) to buy freeSat HD Recorder and connect through current dish?

I'm sick of paying sky prices so any advice is appreciated.

I just used the old dish but you do need two feeds though if you want to record but if you have sky+ then you should have two shouldnt you???

I could get this one. But id have to buy an external HDD aswell so about an extra £50/60

If i got a box like this which has 2 card slots, could i get a lot more satalite channels? e.g. free sports etc ?

Also, anyone know if i can get more 'free' channels e.g. maybe 3SPN with some kind of a chipped card using that CI slot?
Because apart from that the CI slot will be useless

Yer its got freeview built in DMW, its quality, i dont get a few channels (Viva and TMF) but i think thats cos i need to move my ariel as i normally get it on my freeview box.
But its also got a CI slot, not sure id use this though, unless theres a 'free' way of getting TopUpTV, cos i wont be topping it up

But could i just hook that up to my $ky sat dish via coaxil cable's? Cos i dont fancy paying £100+ for installation.
Maybe il just get a Freeview HD box anyway, apparently there gonna be on sale very soon, with ITV HD, BBC HD, Channel4 HD, S4C HD (Wales only) and Five HD (But in late 2010). And its available in manchester now, just waiting for Freeview HD boxes to be launched, and the price to come down
