    Hi ,

    @123edit : This is what I have understood .

    As it is said in the "help" :
    --quality [param] selected quality level (low|medium|high) or exact bitrate

    Using the example given by "Wendy.H" , we don't have (low|medium|high) but 4882 1953 1464 1318 878 439 .
    Letting the automatic download , it has been selected 4882 , witch is the best one .

    hdsdump.exe --threads 4 --showtime --debug --manifest "http://.../manifest.f4m" --referer "http://... .swf" --outfile "hdstest.flv"
    =====
    HDSdump by WendyH (KVS AdobeHDS based) v1.0.2.1
    ---
    Processing manifest info....
    Quality Selection:
    Available: 4882 1953 1464 1318 878 439
    Selected : 4882
    Downloading 21/1946 fragments Time remaining: 03:12:38
    =====

    I have tried a download , selecting a specific bit rate , see below .

    hdsdump.exe --threads 4 --showtime --debug --manifest "http://.../manifest.f4m" --quality 1318 --referer "http://... .swf" --outfile "hdstest_1318.flv"
    =====
    HDSdump by WendyH (KVS AdobeHDS based) v1.0.2.1
    ---
    Processing manifest info....
    Quality Selection:
    Available: 4882 1953 1464 1318 878 439
    Selected : 1318
    Downloading 3/1946 fragments Time remaining: 01:05:06
    =====

    If you want to select a bit rate at the beggining (first) , try to dig inside of the file "....manifest.f4m" .
    Or if possible look at "http://.../manifest.f4m" .
    I haven't be able to look inside of the file given in the example .

    Regards .

    Update...

    MediaBox has fixed all of its issues with messing with your internet connection and now works great and very easy to use. Just remember to run as Admin also run your web browser of choice as Admin so MediaBox can sniff the media traffic...

    Download: http://www.hensence.com/mbox/downloa....1.2.0.353.zip

    Tip: Download the Compressed Package version as its portable meaning nothing gets installed on your computer...

    Well mate i use Widows 7 32bit and never used Windows 8 in my life...?

    But what i would do is...

    Make sure you have latest version -

    Windows Installer (64-bit)
    Windows Installer (32-bit)

    1. Open Wireshark(I run it as Admin just to be safe).
    2. Pick a interface to capture from(In my case i use wifi so i pick that one).
    3. Press Start.
    4. In the Filter Box add your protocol(rtmp etc...).
    5. Goto the streaming website and let the stream play for a few seconds then stop/close it.
    6. Stop the capture in Wireshark.
    7. Now look under the info cell and find the Handshakes and right click and choose follow the TCP traffic.
    8. Now press Ctrl + F to search for your protocol(rtmp etc...).

    You will find all the information you need like swfurl, pageurl, playpath etc...

    Note: When your installing Wireshark make sure you also install the packet capture driver called WinPcap when prompted.

    Hi DEAD_MAN_WALKING, could you guide me, or is there any tutorial create a stream site (just like the stream link listed on wiziwig[dot]tv )
    to be honest I can simply look at one of stream site source code, and copy it (at stream script part, but some of it came along with an ads embed on video stream.
    Is there any possible way to have the original source of stream? Without an ads on it?
    I just want to have a stream for 'football' channel only, from any major league, at low bitrate within 150-200 kbps, because internet connection here in my country, Indonesia wasn't that good.

    Hopes you could help me DMW

    DEAD_MAN_WALKING After trying a few ways to catch flash streams I gave Mediabox a try, and it definitely grabs the rtmp link, however it is invalid when I throw it into VLC, so I don't know what the issue is, although the link looks awfully long. I was wondering if you could look at it and give some advice as to what I am doing wrong.

    I realize it probably has to be run from command prompt using flvstreamer so I tried with this line and get error closing connection Netstream Failed.

    I imagine maybe I need to use rtmpdump but I am not quite sure of proper parameters. I tried and get this.

    RTMPDump v2.3
    (c) 2010 Andrej Stepanchuk, Howard Chu, The Flvstreamer Team; license: GPL
    Connecting ...
    WARNING: HandShake: Type mismatch: client sent 6, server answered 9
    WARNING: HandShake: Server not genuine Adobe!
    ERROR: RTMP_Connect1, handshake failed.

    Can someone check my syntax, as I don't think it is quite right. test2.

    Any help appreciated

    Cheers.

    When I run MediaBox, my Google Chrome browser crashes. I do run it as an administrator. Is there something wrong with MediaBox? I have Windows 8, 64 bit OS.

    Sorry i have no experience on Windows 8, 64 bit, can you try another web browser to see if you get the same problem.

    Still doesn't work, so I give up. I just need the URLs for two radio stations: WSAI Cincinnati Ohio and KXMR Bismarck ND. Please find them for me.

    Code:
