East: Knicks tho 76ers can be a 1st round surprise depending on opponent???

West: Blazers they can beat anyone......crunch time line of Wallace,Roy,Aldridge,Miller,Batum/Matthews fears nobody they will be very very dangerous in first round!!!!

Add healthy Oden next year to them,i know only God knows if Oden will stay healthy but add him to this team and you have a contender, they do not even need Roy to get back to superstar level cause Aldridge can be the man,Batum is progressing and has a nice future......not bad for a team always injured!

    2. i want to win cold city,if i do not win there still can try to do a Melo!

    3. Jump it and dunk it!

the thing about the blazers - and batum - is that mcmillan is gonna stay. and his system destroys batum and fernandez.

those guys are really fast break monsters, they like and are able to make split second decisions on the open court. i'd really like to see them playing to their full potential - particularly batum, whom i see as much more than a defensive stopper

front office is also to take (heavy) blame. they knew oden was a risk and let brandon roy rush himself back into court 2x in less than a year, not to mention that they gave roy a huge 5 year contract when they (again) knew something was wrong with him

    walton, bowie, sabonis, oden...

Oden never got anything related to his knee before they drafted him..... It just happened.....you can't say front office knew, this is not true!!!

Roy situation we do not know the intangibles but this could be true!!!

Batum got better this year,Mcmillan was a master how to handle a team with all these injuries, rudy at one point will be gone anyway but i rather see what happen with this team next yar before saying Mcmillan is a bad fit, when Roy was out they played way much faster,do not forget when healthy it was a team starting relatively slow players in miller and roy!!!

I have a lot of respect for Mcmillan this year he real growed on me as coach!!!

man, cacha, damn finally some toughness and not-back-down u providin in here, been waitin for it for some time thx.

and as in for the front office: oden was by far the biggest bust, yes u got that right, not sam bowie.
KD in this lineup with aldridge, matthews.........srry other team. then trade roy for some1 like stephen curry before and ya got
    curry (back: andre miller)
    matthews (back: fernandez)
    KD (back: batum)
    aldridge
    camby

congrats, thats 5times >>>> lakers+celtics+heat and would be the all-bandwagon team sadly enough they wound up takin oden

So all the moves Blazers made were Oden-related...........hayyyy!!!

Put Durant there and they may have traded and drafted for other players....you can't speculate on current roster and just switch KD for Oden and i like the throwing in with Curry........When curry was drafted Roy was having one crazy all-star year and nobody talking about his knees,Roy for Curry no way Blazers could have done this!!!

Oden biggest bust well if his career ends today maybe but a like more the term of Bust with a guy everybody thought he was good then we say him play to see **** this dude is garbage (someone like olowokandi or kwame)......and that time if Blazers take Durant,OKC takes Oden simple!!!

In case of oden injuries so i call this wasted opportunities not bust and well kid is not planning to retire tomorrow so i'll wait before tell bust!!!

nah they wouldve traded for a good PG, trust me. they wouldnt've signed mathews, but aldridge and KD wouldve been rockin, plus a PG, okay not curry but any1 once they realized they had a shot to win it all.

yeah i was going crazy all over my place the weaks leadin up to the draft, wasnt on this forum yet, but yes, i wouldve drafted KD at no1. thats what i told every1. i had a jersey 4 days after the draft.

and there r more like me that knew from the beginnin that oden was a bust, even without the injuries........KD would still won him big time

i am motherfu*kin right, u dont know nothing about KD business anel u aint got no fu*kin idea

    ban me for this

    get ur fu*kin last word

    go KD
every1 who ever watched this fu*kin game of basketball knows for sure oden is a bust.

well then where's the mod it's time to ban me
drafting oden was the only choice for the trailblazers...
I mean who would pass up on a great C? SFs are much easier to get and Oden is clearly no bust yet! when he's healthy he's dominating which we saw in the games he played! Seattle would have picked him too if they would have gotten the first pick!

btw: when can i change my sig?

haha you are obviously the drunk guy here... Oden had (and still has) the potential to be a great C in this league! Injuries have screwd him up he ain't no bust yet!

If he gets healthy he will dominate! still think that KD is obviosly the better player but it is just much much harder to find a servicable C then to find a Good SF! and Oden was also considered the best talent that time!
that is why he was the consesus NO. 1 Pick!

and no i rather have Wall but I'm sayin that Oden is no bust yet and he can still be a very good C in this league!

    @ pimp

About Roy: Blazers knew the whole time that he was a risk. Words from Blazers President Larry Miller:

"When he was drafted, we knew there were problems with his knees," Miller said. "When we talked about his extension last summer, it did come into play and into the discussions. But at the end of the day, he was the face of turning this organization and franchise around ... it just made all the sense in the world to give him the deal we gave him. There was some consideration given to (his knees) – but as we looked at it and talked – we decided he has earned this. He has earned this max contract regardless of what problems might come along."
They knew he was a risk. They knew that if a 24 year-old guy had not played yet an 80 games season, chances are not small that he may never do that in the future.

Yet they chose the path of giving him the contract for what he had done - which was honourable . Roy is a character guy off the court and a true warrior in it. While people feel good about a sports organization rewarding a great professional, if you evaluate this decisions strictly from a risk-reward perspective, it is highly questionable . That's why u can't blame the Suns for not giving Amare 5 years

    Oden:

Blazers knew the whole time that oden had one leg longer than the other, they knew from seeing his slight limp caused by hip surgery during 6th f*cking grade!!! Doctors and their own stat geeks put questions marks on Oden.

    From Ian Thomsen:

Oden told me his right leg is shorter than the left by "a couple of centimeters," to the point that I noticed him limping as he walked down the hall to a pregame chapel meeting at the Rose Garden last week.

"I wear orthotics in everything except in my dress shoes -- they're so tight in dress shoes," he said. "But I wear orthotics in everything else, because if I don't, it's so significant that you notice it. People will come up to me and ask, 'Why are you limping?' It's just how I walk."

He traces the issues back to an older injury.

"I spoke to some experts and they say it's in my hip," Oden said, pointing to his right side. "I had a hip fracture when I was in sixth grade, and I saw one guy who said that could have something to do with your pain over here [as he pointed to his left knee], that it's just throwing you off a little bit. It doesn't happen right away, but sometime down the line it's going to happen."
OK, it's from 2010 but nonetheless, Oden himself is admitting problems fundamental problems on his body dating back to his school days.

haha daca, no bust YET. wtf the entire time with 'YET' ????????

u think he will explode after his first 4 years, right?? (ah sorry, he will only be a sophomore in his 5th year !!!!)

i aint drunk, to be honest i havent drunked in 2011 yet so lets keep it simple: u guys try to overrate a guy that has played 1 outta 4 years and try da overrate the fact he is a 7footer

yeah 7ft r rare, but if u can get an explosive scorer like KD, wow. he is 6-11 himself!!!!!!!!!!! he can shoot. oden is 7ft. what can he do apart from defense????? sry, but like cacha said, health problems can be found throughout his career, well his last college year: he had to sit out almost all of it coz of .............. an injury.

    bust. bust, baby, a bust.

but it's fine, i dont wanna sound like a fanatic tho i probably do...........i'm serious about this shit.......the last 4 years proved me right:
    more allstars: KD
    more scoring titles: KD
    more playoff games: KD
    more playoff wins: KD
    more world cup medals: KD
    more world cup MVPs: KD
    more world cup topscorers: KD
more world cup GOLD medals as best player: KD
    more double doubles: KD
    better scoring avg: KD
more rookie of the year titles: KD

well wft, he might become SOLID, if he can stay healthy, but KD, a future hall of famer , even before he entered the league..............well if such a KD-like guy is available at the draft..........well then he is a bust

You're calling KD a future Hall of Famer already? Wow, talk about overrating a player. What has he done yet except the scoring & the gold medal against minimal competition?
KD is a great player and will most likely have a hall of fame-career, but so was Tmac or Penny Hardaway.

I'm not saying KD won't be a hall of famer, it's just way too soon to talk about that. Dude is in his 4th season and your starting the hof-talk.
