    Thumbs up Turkish TV

    Some Turkish channels....

Akit TV, Belgesel TV, Cizgifilm TV, Fox Belgesel, Kanal Islam, Kanal M, Orman TV, Planeta and Sinema HD

    - foreign programs (spoken languages) are most of the time narrated in Turkish language.

    - video quality differs for each stream, acceptable to superb - Snapshots taken from Kanal Islam, Kanal M and Sinema HD, click thumbnails to check.

Download LINK (Windows users, open in VLC)

    ... Edit ...
LINUX users beware, possible wmap issue - streams might not work for you. See Troll's post below!

...checked, lol - same problem on my Linux box. - guess Linux VLC / MPlayer doesn't like wmap very much.
Checking out the Ubuntu forums as I am running 11.04 on one of my boxes - seems this problem already exists for some time.

    ...Edit...
Guess I need a (recent) wmapro decoder to get the sound to work.

Forget this, it's a temporary solution. Every time you switch from Windows 7 to Windows XP and vice versa you have to edit this command above.
    This below is permanent solution.

    if exist %systemdrive%\progra~1\videolan\vlc (set "vlc=%systemdrive%\progra~1\videolan\vlc\vlc" 32 bits)
    if exist %systemdrive%\progra~2\videolan\vlc (set "vlc=%systemdrive%\progra~2\videolan\vlc\vlc" 64 bits)
    if exist %homedrive%\progra~1\videolan\vlc (set "vlc=%homedrive%\progra~1\videolan\vlc\vlc" 32 bits)
    if exist %homedrive%\progra~2\videolan\vlc (set "vlc=%homedrive%\progra~2\videolan\vlc\vlc" 64 bits)

Mine above work for both as I am using it on Windows XP 32 bits and Windows 7 64 bits.
