Hi I'm new and I've got some issues, this is my first view and the stream gets frozen each five seconds or some kind of similar and also I have to wait too much to see a few seconds because the buffering is too slow, i have tried on sopcast and streamtorrent having the same problem on both, I tried also on task manager turn the priority of streamtorrent to above normal but the problem still goes on, anyone knows if will be a problem i f a turn the priority to real time? or is not recommended?
I've got all the aplications turned off and i'm not running another torrent thing, even i'm not seeing nothing on web
My connection is on 256kb. I don't know if my conecction is too low to see the game, I don't know what's the issue please if anyone can give me some support to see the games I will be deeply thankful because just don't know more to try. Please any suggestion is welcome, if you think my connection is too slow well i'm gonna try to get higher but i hope there will be another solution. Thanks!
@fusionero: Hi there & welcome to MyP2P. Unfortunately, with that speed you're going to be limited to 200k or lower streams with no other apps actively using the internet. Also, p2p streams like ST, Sop & the like require upload too to feed the stream to others. (Sort of a daisy chain effect). So, if you try to watch a 400k stream, not only will it do as you stated above and your upload is also 256k, it will degrade the quality of the stream for others too. Run this speed test & it will give you an idea of your actual speeds to help you with which streams may be watchable for you: Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test
thanks i think I'm gonna try to get a faster connection as quickly as i can do it.
Hi,it's me again, someone know how can i record a stream on streamtorrent? by the way I increased my connection to 512kbp/s do you think is enough to see the games without any problem?
A Big Thank You to all streamers who made nfl games possible in my part of the world (south east asia).
I noticed many (if not all) long-time sop and tvants streamers now prefers ST.
I tried but failed with ST(buffering til games are over). My issue is I don't have enough bandwidth (3G mobile broadband, 1mbs down/512k up). (Tokar have mentioned, ST users must have at least 1mbs up)
With my limited bandwidth, could I humbly request if some streamers could still stream using Sopcast?
Last weekend's watching Boreme (sop Pats vs Ravens) stream was really good. (95% and up).
Cheers and many thanks again to all streamers.
Sopcast has a recommended 5x the upload rate for a stream. The major difference is that StreamTorrent is trackerless and opperates of a DHT network. In lehmans terms it streams form one user to the next. So if you get bad peers your stream will be crappy. where as Sop and TVants will use more bandwidth from the host if there isnt enough to go around.
@at: yeah, that sucked streaming with tvants. There were times I only had like 100k upload left out of 2M doing a 350k stream.
hi, thanks for your kind reply and input.
I think it may be my 3G broadband which is very inconsistent (can be 0.2mb down / 0.1 up)
thanks and best regards
Hello guys !
I think I have seen a thread about synchronizing a radio stream with a video stream a few months ago (it was kind of a FAQ/Guide).
Unfortunately, I can't find it anymore ...
Could anyone help me finding it ? Or explain it again ? Maybe, you could put this guide into this thread (just an idea).
Thanks a lot for helping me !
I'm Ricky. I"m retired from the U.S. military and live in Japan. I am and always have been a diehard Cheesehead, i.e. Packerfan. I get some live tv broadcasts but not all which is why I want to be able to watch some games live via the internet. Which software programs are best and that you suggest I download?
Thanks in advance for your help and God Bless the USA!
BTW, I have Windows 7

You will for sure want to download & install Stream Torrent. Some will use TvAnts, so can't hurt to install that also. All the information you need is in the First Post of any NFL or MLB streaming thread: http://www.myp2pforum.eu/threads/446...Tues-August-31
Start there and do a test with the Brewers or any game to make sure everything is working for you.
You can also find a link for the software here: http://www.myp2p.eu/softwareitem.php...&part=software
Post again if you have any issues or questions getting things working. Finally the NFL thread may have some web streams listed for some games. Most of those are just click and watch, but could be shutdown by the NFL police.
Whats the best way?
Sorry if I have missed a blindingly obvious instruction elsewhere
Does this work on a Mac?
You can get P2PTV programs to run on a Mac.
There are a couple of programs that emulate windows on a PC.. And for intel based Macs, there is the "Boot camp" program that allows you to install and run windows on the Mac. Download it here; http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/
For info and feedback read http://www.myp2pforum.eu/website-for...-work-mac.html.
So Basically run something that allows you to work with windows programs...
Just Downloaded the laatest PVU player. I can watch sports including Soccer from all over. Will this work for Detroit Lions football games when the season starts? Is there anything else I will have to download? Please respond either publicly or by sending private message. Thanks.
PM's on the forum are disabled, but you should also d/l:
Download StreamTorrent Build 0078 and you should read ST Guide as well. (Copied from MLB). Veetle is another program used sometimes, but you can install that on the fly if needed. Most of the other streams will be flash based, which you should already set for.
