the links everyone wants are workig fine. one other option is to use xbmc. that works for me (watching baseball right now )
most of the italian links are down. either a bit of prioritizing server space is being done or somebody didn't pay their cable/satellite subscribtion fees .
other links that are down (russian channels/some of the polish channels), have been down for months now (or they just don't work for me).
i hope nobody expects poor Darby to test all of the channels too, after writing these awesome FREE programs. without people like him and his great contributions , we'd all be picking our noses and trying to find other things to do/watch.
if things work, they work. if they don't, deal with it or use your imagination and try to figure out ways to get them to work.

    ''...is down with .m3u8
if you check you will see that there's nothing work not with the older version or the newest...''

Yes, ur right > no chance to run http://xxx.net/stream/z991102.m3u8 > to open ''.m3u8'' u have to use VLC v.2.0 ,...
...but in that case u'll be in trouble to use v.2.0 so easy as an older/obsolete v.1.11 cause v.2.0 is not so compactibe with older hardware, also many sites was built to use vlc-plugin 1.5 /or 9 /or 11, then if do u realy need to use last version of VLC try this > http://nightlies.videolan.org/
(a bit more stable version called ''nightly built'' based on an original vlc's code but it's not an ''original vlc'')

Dunno why but some PCs with instaled VLC have probem to open .m3u8 = vlc not opening this extension does not matter if opening ''the site'' (your example above) or IPTV http/xx.xx.xx/m3u8. It looks as a not-specified problem depending on pc+system+codec+condition,etc... one pc/vlc runs m3u8 vs. another-one does not.

(iptv+m3u8 is a bit different cos using http without ending extension (instead of with .m3u8) is still redirecting to the same server then it's bloody hard to explaint ''what's wrong with'' > simply to say: sometimes, vlc does not support m3u8)

    Hi everybody,

Did you tried Vidalia with exitnodes ch, it doesn't work anymore for me ! I'm always with german IP.
I invite people to try it and leave comments here.

Here is the content of my torrc file: AvoidDiskWrites 1
    ControlPort 9051
    DataDirectory .\Data\Tor
    DirReqStatistics 0
    GeoIPFile .\Data\Tor\geoip
    Log notice stdout
    SocksListenAddress 127.0.0.1
    ExitNodes {ch}
    StrictNodes 1

    Leave your comments, thanks !

Nice u invite people to solve your problem not getting a bullet.... but you shuld try fix-it using your own brain cause this pseudo-problem is easy to be solved just checking the site or tor's home > the soution is called ''Tor Fingerprint''.

    Tor Project & Vidalia

If you have got problem to set correct geo-location = you have to use ''Tor Fingerprint'' to fix your country (geographic-) preferences called ''ExitNodes{code of country}''.

    Replace
    ExitNodes {ch}
    StrictExitNodes 1
    with
    ExitNodes $CFA48FC3E843DFF01AA026EC77010AB57E8C2FF0
    StrictExitNodes 1

& this is just an EXAMPLE of the Fingerprint !!!
& picture helps to hold the point what have to be done, ...if not, I wrote a PDF manual ''How to set Fingerprint'': http://uploading.com/files/6e5fc7e9/Fingerprint.pdf/

nothing wrong here = ur slow, or better to say - lazy, cause u got some options to manage your net-connection to be a bit faster. if it is not poor/slow basicaly by provider then your shouting has nothing to do with appication itself at all.

(then and anyway not surprising me your nick-name cos sounds very arabic/turkish - lazy people as far as i recognized you/them while i have been working in northern africa & middle east)

    Hi expo,

I'm newbie and I have a little brain...

Anyway, thanks for your pdf manual but unfortunately, I change the code of the country with 4 fingerprints (4 servers) separated by commas, and I have still the german address.

It is not possible (!) cos FP is an identification of server = no chance to rewrite-it /or to be redirected onto another-one. Did u really find swi/ch fingerprint as shows the picture in pdf manual? If yes = u have to be on swi server without a doubt.
    Fingerprint ExitNodes - Copy.jpg

Here is an example of .ch fingerprint > close tor completelly (!) - go to TorBrowser >Data >Tor - rewrite torrc > paste FP into the torrc file and save > then re-start tor :
    ExitNodes $828FB57A8602DA1B0D973FF1F823308EF793180D
    StrictExitNodes 1

    > when it is done torrc file shud look like this-one = via manuall, if not copy & paste followed text into torrc > save torrc & start tor :

    # If non-zero, try to write to disk less frequently than we would otherwise.
    AvoidDiskWrites 1
    # Store working data, state, keys, and caches here.
    DataDirectory .\Data\Tor
    GeoIPFile .\Data\Tor\geoip
    # Where to send logging messages. Format is minSeverity[-maxSeverity]
    # (stderr|stdout|syslog|file FILENAME).
    Log notice stdout
    # Bind to this address to listen to connections from SOCKS-speaking
    # applications.
    SocksListenAddress 127.0.0.1
    ExitNodes $828FB57A8602DA1B0D973FF1F823308EF793180D
    StrictExitNodes 1

Note 1 : ...no problem to get swi/ch ip right now. Not testing this FP but talking about ganeral availability to get swi ip via tor, then u have to be able to get-it as well using any other .ch FP = manual & brain work together to fi-it. if not = u have to be in any ''unfriendly counrty'' but in that case u'll be not able to access .de tor-server as well.
Note 2 : ...if do u want to use tor to watch swi zoo tv = no chance ( zoo tv is not accessible through tor ) & to watch swi wii tv with tor/proxy is possible but u have to find really fast proxy-server.

Here is my torrc file :

    Hi again,

I've just deleted the portable Tor bundled version and unzipped again Tor Bundled portable. I wrote torrc file with exitnodes {ch} and I have still a german IP.

I got the following messages from the Message Log:

    It's bizarre !

From Tor Network, I'm connected to swiss servers, and if I check my IP address, I have a german IP. I tried with different IP look up sites.

What !? ...''u don't know'' > then where u getting these FPs from? (...) All FPs are followed with country flag + country-code ''.ch'', then U HAVE TO KNOW that u'r trying to use FPs relaled to swiss/.ch tor-servers.

I know this situation with german IP what is mentioned above ( ''Chaos Computer'' in total 4 servers with the same IP just with different ending number ) , anyway as I said > u shud get swi ip using fingerprint of .ch server.

    You have to be precis...

& Delete Tor browser > use any general cleaner (ccleaner) > restart PC.
Check if related tor folders are deleted ( if not, delete them manually now ) :
& Show hidden folders and delete: C > Users > You > AppData > Local > folder: Vidalia
& Show hidden folders and delete: C > Users > You > AppData > Roaming > folder: Tor

Download and Unzip Tor - do not start tor (!) to be safe that torrc is not running, then just > open right created Tor Browser folder :
    & go to (disk C) Tor Browser >Data >Tor
& open ''torrc'' file in notepad ( or simply open it in total commander - press ''edit button'' ) > if torrc containts any text just rewrite & save.
    Start Tor Browser...

    Copy & Paste > u'll create torrc file using swi/.ch fingerprints ( i'm getting swiss ip = server is open. = u have to get-it as well ) :

    # If non-zero, try to write to disk less frequently than we would otherwise.
    AvoidDiskWrites 1
    # Store working data, state, keys, and caches here.
    DataDirectory .\Data\Tor

    Hi expo,

I found what was wrong : the 'chaos computer' servers appear in the Tor Network under the Swiss flag country. This is big mistake from Tor browser, as these IP are in fact german IPs and not a swiss address server.

So, when you set up with :
    ExitNodes {ch}
    StrictExitNodes 1

You are going to use firstly the german servers named 'Chaos Computer'

...but... I know that, then giving u torrc incl. swiss fingerprints cause with ExitNodes (ch) u getting connection through these first-four-servers. as u said now.
then also have to say that I was wrong not giving u an advice not use ''chaos computers' severs'' > then silly me
anyway i gave u swiss torrc to be used instead of the original = now u shud get swi ip with.

( i did hope u will try servers scrolling down 'cos the first-four-servers with swiss flag have got the same IP (false ''tor bridge'' .ch/.de was created to confuse people trying accessing swi tv - possiby/probably created by aka-i protection) = tor project is not guity with, then shameless )

    Hi Darby,

Today, I created a new account with Vidalia (swiss server). After that, I confirm my account by entering into teleboy ch.

Then, I run Vidalia and I run the new script that I've just re-downloaded again (I already deleted the old teleboy script) and I entered my username and password, run a few channels and but nothing was happening. I don't have the fd:// on the upper screen of VLC. So, I don't know what's wrong. Something is wrong. Could you tell me more please ? Have you tried with the teleboy script from this forum, in case of you have another version in your computer ?

I remind you that I have VLC 2.0.0 on my laptop.
