Zatoo script could hardly be fixed as they now use Adobe HTTP dynamic protocol F4M which is not compatible with external players like VLC.

    Do you have a stream/manifest?

It doesn't work with all streams, those with groupspec/rtmfp won't work for example. It would be easier to explain it with an example which you could then play.
Basically, you have the manifest (.f4m), the .bootstrap, and apparently in some cases a .m3u8 playlist, where the stream fragments are in.
If you figure out the playlist, it should work in VLC. That's what I found out so far.

    Got an example...found a stream...wait...

That's the manifest of the stream: http://aj.lsops.net/live/_definst_/m...p/manifest.f4m

Now, change manifest.f4m into playlist.m3u8, and open in VLC.

Note: I run VLC media player 2.1.0-git-20120402-0005 Rincewind (Nighly Build) on Vista.

Nope, totally different. Not sure if this one is doable...

Found on another forum, by KSV:

they are using adobe HDS (Http Dynamic Streaming). it's similar to Microsoft Smooth Streaming (Silverlight) and Apple's Http Live Streaming (HLS). ffmpeg and some other ffmpeg based players (VLC etc.) support HLS (.m3u8) but i don't know if any player supports HDS yet except their own flash player.
