yup that was an astonishing peformance from red bull over the whole weekend.
i just hope it doesnīt get boring and they dominate like that for the rest of the season.....according to the team they didnīt even drive at 100% for 2/3 of the race!

ferrari def needs to step up and also mercedes have to get their shi.. ehm stuff together!

i cant go any other way, its a force of nature last season i came home round 4, dead drunk, and managed to watch the whole race (Followed up by a lie in that never stopped the whole of suday )

Luckily this sunday the race is at 10am CET. Not that much of trouble Tho i hate that i have to get up and start the pc to watch it, as i cant get RTL at my place anymore :/

Thats a pretty good preview of the GP:

This Vettel and Red Bull seem to be of another planet, not even Webber manages to go so hard. Ferrari albeit with a generous no contact with Alonso Hamilton would come to the podium, is still far from the area of leadership. The race was altogether pleasant, with frequent overtaking more and more clearly the new rules seem to work.

    Here are the standings after two races;

    1 Sebastian Vettel (RedBull) 50
    2 Jenson Button (McLaren) 26
    3 Lewis Hamilton (McLaren) 22
4 Mark Webber (Red Bull) 22
    5 Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) 20
    6 Felipe Massa (Ferrari) 16
    7 Nick Heidfeld (Renault) 15
    8 Vitaly Petrov (Renault) 15
    9 Kamui Kobayashi (Sauber) 6
10 Sebastien Buemi (Red Bull) 4
11 Adrian Sutil (Force India) 2
    12 Michael Schumacher (Mercedes) 2
13 Paul Di Resta (Force India) 2

    pertovs jump was pretty nice!
iīd give him a solid 9/10 and a 8/10 for the landing (would be a 10 if the steering wheel would still be attached to the car )

    wow amazing race!
congrats to hamilton, perfect driving and strategy and to webber to pushing from 18th to 3rd!
it was also good to see that mercedes did well and got points for both drivers....
only dissapointment is still ferrrari who both looked good at times during the race but in the end still no podium....
looking forward to istanbul now, i think if it goes on like this we will see alot of exciting races this year (thanks to pirelli, KERS and DRS)

PS: what the hell did button think to stop at the red bull box not at mclaren?!

Splendid race in terms of entertainment, a bit less for Ferrari, undoubtedly the weaker team of the mouse. Exciting race from the start with McLaren than ready to take on the first green. Vettel has clicked the start, and consequently forced the team to change a strategy is not winning, amazing how the strategies have become fomndamentali Just look at the second pilot Rd Bull, Webber party has done 17 ^ 4 stops and finished third a few tenths from Vettel finished second and made two stops and started on pole. Hamilton won thanks to its starordinaria determination. Ferrari are in difficulty, Alonso can not express to his level and, moreover, too often rotrova also behind the good Massa.

If that Murdoch bastard comes anwhere closer to Formula 1 i will have to vomit. That would also be the end of Formula 1 in Freeview as he would make it only available on his own rip off pay tv channels. Grrrrrrrr.

    GP2 Series 2011 - Round 1 Istanbul

GP2 Series seventh season starts this weekend

The GP2 Series enters in its seventh season after six thriving years that established the category as a must-see for those wanting to know who the next big thing in Formula One will be . The new GP2/11 car debuted last January in Abu Dhabi in the GP2 Asia Series and on Pirelli tyres – the Italian manufacturer becoming the sole supplier to the category. The 2011 season is set to deliver action-packed and exciting races that fans and motorsport professionals alike have come to expect from the most successful Formula One feeder series.

Two new teams join the field: Carlin and Team AirAsia, expanding the grid to twenty six cars. The latter chose to benefit from two experienced and race winner drivers in the shape of Luiz Razia and Davide Valsecchi, while the British squad bet on their strong and successful relationship with Mikhail Aleshin and sophomore Max Chilton. Over eighteen races this season, twenty-six drivers will fight for glory and if GP2 Asia Series Champion Romain Grosjean at Dams’ looks like a serious title contender, many other talented racers will also run for the same status. From Istanbul to Monza, and alongside Formula One, the 2011 GP2 Series season promises one extremely competitive battle!

    Schedule
    Friday 6th May
    11.55– 12.25 Practice
    15.55 – 16.25 Qualifying

    Saturday 7th May
    15.40 Race Start

    Sunday 8th May
