    Great great race with great excitement and lots of overtaking. Red Bull confirms the overwhelming power, Vettel has won a race never questioned. Awakening of Ferrari, McLaren and Renault a step back. The Pirelli tires seem chenwingum will wear quickly and four pitstop in the race are many.

    Spanish Grand Prix Barcelona

    Another disappointment for Ferrari. Despite the good start and a good qulaifiche Fernando Alonso finishes the home Grand Prix and doubled in 5 th position. The first 18 laps of Ferrari were fantastic, could not even keep up with so much more effortlessly quoted Red Bull and McLaren. After the second stop using the hard tires, the Red has lost no longer stand the confrontation with opponents, highlighting once again the obvious difficulty of the machine that picks up only a little glory thanks to the tenacity of Asturian good pilot. As for Vettel, no doubt about it, pure talent at the helm of the F1 car in better shape. The German has won in Spain with a car without the use of KERS, and the gap Technical nonostantfe managed to hold off their opponents with great tenacity and that Hamilton, who urged him closely throughout the race. Finally, to report on 6 ^ place Shumacher that for once he gets behind his team mate and the first rookie World Championship points for the Mexican Perez.

    Drivers standings;

    1 Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull) 118

    2 Lewis Hamilton (McLaren) 77

    3 Mark Webber (Red Bull) 67

    4 Jenson Button (McLaren) 61

    5 Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) 51

    6 Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) 26

    7 Nick Heidfeld (Renault) 25

    8 Felipe Massa (Ferrari) 24

    9 Vitaly Petrov (Renault) 21

    10 Michael Schumacher (Mercedes) 14

    11 Kamui Kobayashi (Sauber) 9

    12 Sebastien Buemi (Toro Rosso) 6

    13 Adrian Sutil (Force India) 2

    14 Sergio Perez (Sauber) 2

    15 Paul Di Resta (Force India) 2

    GP2 Series;
    Gp2 Spain second weekend for the European GP2 series, wins Pic and Leimer.

    The long race on Saturday afternoon, saw the double of Barwa Addax Team, with Charles Pic, which has crossed the line ahead of his teammate, Giedo Van Der Garde. Behind them is placed Sam Bird, the third consecutive podium finish. Romain Grosjean had finished in 4th place but was disqualified for his car on a number of irregularities detected by the commissioners during the post-race inspections. The Frenchman has also remedied an additional penalty: in Game 2 will be forced to start from the back of the grid. Esteban Gutierrez penalty for that, because of contact with Michael Herck, lost ten places on the starting grid for Sunday. The Italians need to record a good 4th place for Davide Valsecchi, while Luca Filippi has retired in the first round. In the sprint race on Sunday morning was Fabio Leimer Rapax on to dominate. The Swiss, after the great comeback on Saturday (26 ° to 8 °), imposed a 10-second gap to Dani Clos, second, 20 seconds and Marcus Ericsson in the third. Romain Grosjean, who started last, was able to recover up to 9th position, but the Spanish weekend for him has been very negative. The French, in fact, lost the leadership of the league, and now is 4 °, trailing by eight points from the connection Van Der Garde - Bird who leads the standings with 21 points. Davide Valsecchi, 4 degrees below the checkered flag, he lost the podium by a whisker: Just two, in fact, the tenth who have separated from the third place Ericsson. Yet another recall, however, for Luca Filippi. The pilot of the Super Nova is off to a dismal 0 in the standings and if he wants to have any hope for the championship, must try to reverse this negative trend as early as next race in Monaco.

    Monaco Grand Prix - 26/05/2011 - 29/05/2011
    The Grand Prix of Monaco Grand Prix is a Mythical all the drivers have dreamed of winning on the track of the Principality. It is the slowest and the most difficult part of the Formula 1 World Championship. Winning at Monaco because he deserves the slightest mistake in the streets of the principality is fatal. The first Monaco Grand Prix was won by William Grover-Williams, then followed by big names like Schumacher, Senna, Prost, Fangio, Graham Hill. Attending live at the Monaco Grand Prix Formula 1 is an unforgettable experience that you must anticipate and prepare. Formula One teams have already arrived in Monaco after the Grand Prix of Spain which has once again witnessed the triumph of Sebastian Vettel. Ferrari and McLaren will do everything possible to curb the excessive power of Red Bull, or the Circus could be described by the 2011 world champion with a very broad advance. The Grand Prix of Monaco is a favorite of fans of Formula One and the circuit winds through the streets of the district of Monte Carlo, one of four that make up the small Principality of Monaco. The track is the shortest of the whole World, but also one that requires more time to follow it, because of the stretch of Mirabeau Haute, the bend of the old station, the slowest point of the whole Circus. In addition, the circuit requires a greater number of gear changes. It begins Thursday with the first practice, then resumed Friday with the third session and the afternoon of Saturday, the official qualifying. The race will fire Sunday, May 29 at 14.

    GP2 Series;
    Third round for GP2 on the track of the principality as the usually vary the times of races. Race 1 on Friday morning at 11:00 and Race 2 at 16:00 Saturday afternoon. Van de Garde and Bird come paired at the top, but it is to bet thatvarious Grosjean , Valsecchi, Pic, Bianchiand the landlord Coletti will be more than ready to fight for the victory .

    F1 2011 - GP Europe

    Vettel triumphs in Valencia, the great Alonso is second. In the GP of Europe in a race without incident (for the first time in history cars cross the finish line 24) authoritative statement of the German pilot, but Ferrari responds very well capitalized with a performance of the Spaniard.

    Webber in third, Hamilton fourth. Massa fifth. Sebastian Vettel is insatiable, and as he had predicted led from start to finish the European Grand Prix which was played on psita of Valencia. But behind the champion of good test for Red Bull Ferrari from Fernando Alonso, who started from the 4 th place on the grid and get a beautiful podium, made a service running on the same time capital of the Austrian car. Demonstration of skills of this great Spaniard is the fact that Mark Webber was passed without any major problems with authority and controlled. Fifth place on the other hand Felipe Massa, Lewis Hamilton behind a star but never willingly. Behind the Brazilian in the other McLaren of Jenson Button, very subdued after meravogliosa Montreal race, while it is worth noting the good performance of Nico Rosberg who finished with Mercedes 7 ° ahead of the two surprises of the day, Alguersuari Jaime Toro Red she and Adrian Sutil Force India, which have overtaken the Renault of Nick Heidfeld. Among the top drivers have gone very badly Vitaly Petrov, 15 °, and Michael Schumacher, who finished 17 th after breaking wing. Sebastian Vettel in the standings hours increases his lead to 75 points ahead of the second, Jenson Button.

    Default BBC, Sky to share Formula 1 rights from 2012

    The BBC will share the rights to Formula 1 with Sky from next year.

    The new arrangement will continue until 2018, with the BBC showing half of the races live. Sky Sports will broadcast coverage of all practice sessions, qualifying and every race.

    Barbara Slater, director of BBC Sport, said: "We are absolutely delighted that F1 will remain on the BBC. The sport has never been more popular with TV audiences at a ten-year high and the BBC has always stated its commitment to the big national sporting moments.

    "With this new deal not only have we delivered significant savings but we have also ensured that through our live and extended highlights coverage all the action continues to be available to licence-fee payers."

    The BBC will broadcast races including the Monaco grand prix, British grand prix and the final race of the season, in addition to practice and qualifying sessions from the races it has the rights to show live.

    It will also carry highlights of any grand prix that it does not show in full.

    Sky Sports' managing director Barney Francis said that the announcement was "fantastic news for F1 fans" and promised to "give F1 the full Sky Sports treatment, with a commitment to each race never seen before on UK television".

    BBC Radio 5 Live will have live commentary of all races and both broadcasters will provide extended coverage across online, 'red button' services and mobile platforms.

    Both broadcasters will also provide build-up coverage before each race on Sky News, Sky Sports News and the BBC News channel.

    The BBC has had exclusive UK rights to Formula 1 coverage since 2009. F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone and McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh had both encouraged the BBC to keep broadcasting grands prix.
