    Default TVAnts / VLC Trouble

    Hey guys,

So when I am watching baseball on TVAnts, the video is really clear, but there is no sound. So when I switch to VLC, there is perfect sound, but the video is so choppy/blocky/fuzzy that I can't even tell I am watching the Sox. How do I resolve this? I am running Windows Vista on a major university network, so my connection is fine (plus, the video is perfect on TVAnts' video player).

    Thanks

Did anybody ever figure this one out? I am having the same problem. I have had it in the past and the only way I've been able to fix it is to basically set Windows back to factory settings

You can try uninstalling Flashget and see if that helps.

    Default New to TVAnts

What are the best Socks 5 proxies and ports?

What trackers are the best so I can receive all channels without having to wait an age for them to buffer.

    Cheers

I checked to make sure that the sound was not muted in TVAnts. However, I prefer to use VLC because it is lighter on my system load. The video used to work great, and then all the sudden it died down on VLC.

It's just the channel or your internet connection...

There isn't a way, sorry. The channels are broadcasted in a specific bitrate, you can't change it at all. The same like you can't change a hd signal to normal when you watch tv, or change your tv stream to 1/2 quality...

Some channels simply run faster and load better then others. Some are in higher and some lower quality. Best is to use the kbps we list, search for the lowest one.

    Default Blue buffer bar question

When I have loaded up a TVAnts channel, why does the blue buffer bar not appear at the bottom of the screen?

    Default TVAnts HELP!!!

I don't get it and need some help here guys. I used TVAnts fine before (older version). I come to watch football games (American). I downloaded the new version and when I open it - I get no channels and when I click a link from a game the balck picture screen comes up and it sats buffering but nothing comes -no video or sound. I have VLC and tried to right click in the picture box to paste to VLC but no menu appears to let me do so. Also, it then gets "stuck" when I try to close it and a beeping sound comes from the computer and it then goes off and closes. Help!!!

    Thanks in advance.

Default A problem with Tvants. (Closes suddenly)

I've been having a little bit of trouble with Tvants the last couple of weeks. After no specific time the program just closes and I have to start it up again. Sometimes it doesn't happen at all (very rare), sometimes a few times during the game but very often it closes once every thirty seconds at least. That makes it very hard to watch, up til' now I just rode the wave but I'm getting a little tired of it. I've checked to see if it's my connection but that doesn't seem to be the problem. Anyone's had similar problems?
