Sopcast with VLC

Always hated how you can only have either a small window or full screen with Sopcast
At full screen on a 28" monitor, streams can look a bit pants! Will be nice to finally be able to resize the window to size i want

Do I assume that I have to keep Sopcast open to keep the stream playing in VLC?

Could at be a codec problem? I have the Gordian.Knot.Codec.Pack.1.6. and the Klite.

I highly recommend this codec pack: Shark007
I have tried many codec packs in the past and this is by far to best i have come across .... but i use W7 now.

Yeah you have to keep sopcast running in the background, and you can move the VLC window wherever you want to or resize it the way you like it (even ratio and other things can be changed with VLC)

My SopCast doesn't seem to like VLC. Just doesn't get on with it. It has no problems with Windows Media Player, so I use that with Sopcast and under no other circumstances at all. Go figure.

While your channel is open in sopcast open VLC --> Open Network stream --> Http --> 127.0.0.1:8902

hi I have downloaded vlc and applied it to sopcast but when the buffer gets to 30 a runtime error comes up and sopcast times out and its always at 30% when the icon to change it to VLC lights up. Can u please help me. Thanks

Can someone tell me how to stream live games. A buddy told me about this site but I can't seem to get any games. I did all the registration and everything but there's got to be something I'm missing. Do you have to pay somewere?
