I'm quite new to this but after having watched the video explaining the setup I notice that there is no flv.exe file in the rar archive (as per the video) and when I click on a channel vlc launches but plays nothing. It displays f://0. Sorry in advance if I'm missing something really basic but 55 pages is a little too much for me to read

You dont need flv.exe its just rtmpdump.exe anyway renamed...

Depending on the stream your trying to watch f://0 basically means its trying to fetch all the info to play the stream if there is no f://0 the stream is dead.

Hello.

First off my compliments on this program! really Wow!
I'm using the script on the Acryan Playonhd, but run into a little problem.
The stream begins to play, but after 7 seconds the screen goes black but the sound continues...
Also, how can i hide the blue bar at the bottom of the screen ? It's placed half over the image.
I'm using the latest Playon!X firmware.

dead . I think they changed their setting on their website but it still works on when you go watch the channels on the website.

is it me or most of the channels don't work.
i think i got maybe over 6 channels to work.

refreshed channels list many times.

anybody getting more then 20 chanels working and some of the good USA movie channels working.

Well that's down to the community to update it, if no one updates it the channels become dead fast...

Bad news, everyone. I have a problem with rtmpGUI, when I launch it appears an error window that says: "an error occurred while trying to load the remote channel list". I tried to reload the channel list and to re-start rtmpGUI many times but the situation is always the same. Does anybody know how to solve this problem? Is there a working back-up list somewhere in the web? Thanks in advance
P.S. Sorry if my english is not perfect, I'm Italian.

Give it a go now, I've updated the IPdatabase, and modified the way it blocks certain countries, it shouldn't throw an error, but display a message instead of the channel list..

I am new to this addon. Was trying to work your gui through XBMC as an Addon. however, i canot load any US or Indian channels. Can you please assist with xbmc rtmpgui addon and how to get all the channles working?

rtmpGUI is user feed not spoon feed meaning people need to add channels to the database to view.

That's why it has not many channels at the moment because people like to be spoon feed and not help but expect others to do it for them.

1st post mate you need to register for a API key to add channels because people thought it was funny to delete channels...

I´m trying to open rtmpGUI in Window XP, .NET Framework 2.0 & 40. is installed. Everything worked perfectly with rtmpGUI before I made repair install to Windows XP (network driver dissapeard suddenly, thats why I made it). After that I installed all this updates to .NET Framework by Windows Update. Then tryed to open rtmpGUI but it showed up for 2 sec in Task Manager and disappeard. I already removed and installed rtmpGUI again but no luck. 2 sec appearing in Task Manager then nothing happens. What to do?

rtmpGUI needs .NET Framework 3.5 but should work under 4.0...?

I uninstalled previously installed .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 SP1, 4.0 and installed them again but no luck. Still appears for 2 seconds in Task Manager and then dissapears. The same problem is with other program that uses .NET Framework.
