    Default StreamTorrent on HP Touchpad?

Does anyone know how to get this to work on WebOS platform for the Touchpad? It won't allow me to download it for Google Groups.

Here is an official link for a ST download: Download StreamTorrent Build 0078
But, no idea if ST will work on a Touchpad.

I tried hooking up my PC to the tablet and was able to get the Stream Torrent .exe file over but I don't see any way to access it. Suppose I'd have to jailbreak it or something.

Isnt WebOS Android...? and Android is a form of Linux/Unix...?

The tut here is for SopCast but should work for StreamTorrent also...

If ever a password is needed in any of my or other users uploads try myp2p, Myp2p or wiziwig.

They're not even close to being similar.

Thanks for the link....will definitely check it out.

By the way, I tried Sopcast on my PC and it would not open any streams. Only StreamTorrent worked.

DEAD MAN WALKING, thanks so much....was able to get this up and running on my Touchpad tonight, using Stream Torrent, VLC and Orb. One thing I noticed is that both Stream Torrent AND VLC have to be playing the stream at the same time. For some reason, if I try to run the stream on VLC alone, it doesn't work.

    Great link and tutorial....thanks!!!

Hey i didnt even know about this WebOS i just guessed it would be Android how wrong i was...

But hey i was right about the Linux bit...

HP webOS is a mobile operating system based on a Linux kernel, initially developed by Palm, which was later acquired by Hewlett-Packard.

One more question, DMW....is there any way to get webcam streams to your tablet/mobile device? I can't find any URL for the webcam feeds other than the URL at the top of the page, but that doesn't target the stream itself in VLC. The http address doesn't get it done. VLC only seems to work for P2P streams. Unfortunately, the webstreams don't play directly on my Touchpad's web browser....or not all of them, anyway. So, I have no way of getting the webstreams on my Touchpad.
