Realtvsport6 wants me to download software to watch the NYR game. Is it safe? I kinda' get concerned when I see an ad. Also Hockey Night 2 is posted as the Ranger Game but I'm getting the Flyers, am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

My bad, the Ranger game isn't until 7:30 pm. EST
But is the software on Realtvsport safe to download

I strongly recomend not to download anything ! I have used realtvsports streams very often and never received a message like this. You say it's an ad, do you use an adblocker ? Which browser do you use ?

Edit: As strategix said in the following post, the only software you need to watch is flash player which you can download here http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
It's important to have the latest version, as old versions have security leaks, which can be used by malware ads to damage your computer.

Indeed, don't download anything. It's a flash stream so you shouldn't need anything. I'd also recommend adblocker. The feed seems to be frozen, so it's not working for me as well.

Also I see Hockey Night 2 as listed for the Flyers game in the FP, so he must have changed his schedule.

Edit: Sens/Rangers feed seems to be working now (Realtvsport6)

I'm using FF with an Ad blocker and no script, but I was getting a frozen picture so I used the IE tab add-on (sometimes when there's a FF conflict this helps) and that's when I got the "download this software" message and some stuff about "free for life". Smelled kinda' fishy to me. Thanks for confirming my concern!
