Anyone with a working proxy for The Netherlands?
Anyone with a working proxy for The Netherlands?
I have had no trouble streaming in the past with sopcast/vlc.
Now, for the 'nucks game, either NASN or VP4 it buffers to about 35%, ping jumps up to 99 but it remains a black screen.
Any help??
Hmm, do you have latest version of VLC?
I don't really know if this is the best place to ask, but...
I'm on a proxy server from my school in order to use internet on my computer... how do I get sopcast to work under this proxy? Is it possible?
Is there a problem when you try and open up a channel?
I have the same problem, when I try and use a proxy the university firewall(?) shuts me down. Has anyone found a solution for this or have any suggestions? IT's not just not being able to connect to YAHOO, I lose all connectability as soon as I try a proxy from the university.Originally Posted by andres91
I remember when the 'nucks lost to highway 10 . . . .
Not quite. Sopcast simply doesnt sign in at the start. It says it can't connect.Originally Posted by luckyone
You are trying to use a node of the CoDeeN CDN Network. Your IP address is not recognized as a valid PlanetLab address, so your request rate is being limited.
Never mind, it doesn't work. I can't go to any sites. I want to just watch ESPN 360 Europe, but I, unfortunately, don't live in Europe. Not even ESPN 360 United States works for me.
PS: There is no edit/preferences...it's tools/options/advanced/network/settings for Mozilla Firefox.
had anyone in the US gotten ESPN360 Europe to work with a proxy?
Hi there!
I've installed the Hotspot-Shield a few minutes ago to watch the Toronto vs. Pittsburg game on Yahoo. The Shield gets connected and know I'm not getting the message of geo restrictions. But nevertheless I only see a black window. I've waited, but only the advertising for this DVD-thing and then the black window. :-( So I'm going to bed now.
But I'd be very, very thankful for any suggestions or ideas what I can do to watch the high quality Yahoo streams.
Thank you, Chris
Can anyone hel me with hotspot sheild? when i press connect I get this error:
State:
Disconnected [bandwidth exceeded]
VPN IP Address:
Not Set
Anyone else having problems with CoDeeN proxies? They just freeze my Firefox/IE...
I've been accessing Europe.espn360.com from the states using this proxy:
62.65.159.183 port 3128

Is there any proxy who works on CBC -> Hockey - Sports - CBC.ca iŽll try several but nothing work, anyone already got it?
I have Firefox, how I use the proxy for see HD link in Italy?
A small guide to get the CoDeeN proxys to work with Yahoo.
Using IE7.
I always first go to the page there the "live" link is without proxy, and also untick the "Page Refresh" option, then activate the proxy. It seems to work the best way for me... & don't worry if you get the blackout message at first, just be a bit patient and choose the videoquality until it works.
If you tho keep getting the Blackout message over and over, close the window, and clear cookies. Then try again.
Remember, you just need it to start running the stream, then you can disconnect the proxy.
But with some isp the CoDeeN proxy don't seem to work at all, (IE locks) so if that's the case, you better find a nonCoDeeN.
A thought came to my mind about interference of local addresses and proxies:
As a default enable "bypass proxy server for local addresses" (check the box in IE)
and insert a list of common addresses in the appropriate field.
This list would include your computer, common local networks and the connection to your ISP (<MyISPaddr>).
e.g. if your ISP is AOL, <MyISPaddr> would be aol.com.
So the list would look like:
- for IE:
localhost; 127.0.0.1; 10.*.*.*; 192.168.*.*; *.<MyISPaddr>; <MyISPaddr>
e.g. localhost; 127.0.0.1; 10.*.*.*; 192.168.*.*; *.aol.com; aol.com
- for Mozilla-like browsers:
localhost, 127.0.0.1, 10.0.0.0/8, 192.168.0.0/16, .<MyISPaddr>
e.g. localhost, 127.0.0.1, 10.0.0.0/8, 192.168.0.0/16, .aol.com
