Dont get to attached to these as ive seen them posted all over the www now and i guess will soon be geo-blocked like the site they came from...

Here on my PC I can watch US/UK area but on my Xtreamer I can't and I don't know how to fix it, they connected to the same router by LAN. I need also to convert data I'm collecting here to language that it will understand and play,

Only Russia Today is right, all the other channels are either Dail Eirann or Seanad Eirann (can't tell...)

Well it's Saroview on your PC.

The streams will pop back up, I think its this > aertv.ie website that have changed the stream links because they would see the increase of foreign IP's are watching the streams. But geoblocking is a form of censorship and a breach of one of the EU laws on Information, human rights and freedom.

It is also blocked on Sky UK as well. One of the comments on my youtube video said this.

Thing is, with Sky block the RTE channels in the UK and blocknig BBC & ITV in Ireland (don't know if the Republic get UTV pretty sure you do get Channel 4 S4C and Channel 5) Sky are actually breaking the EU Television Without Frontiers Regualtions, both UK and Ireland are EU members, so Sky should allow all the channels to both countries.

Hm, doesn't work for me. I've tried some Irish VPNs as well but to no avail. The RTE Player just won't switch from the international version... Any ideas?

Ok, got it to work now, this time I did the dns thing manually and the 'Ireland' option magically appeared on the site, brilliant!

i've tried all of the above and it still only shows the same channel on all links (the irish government seanad channel). It is not possible to view even this unless i do the manual suggestion.
When i do the manual suggestion and other one suggested by DMW i cannot view the channels as they should be. Although it is an excellent way to use bbc and other uk tv websites such as itv and channel 4. Even the u.s. websites like abc and fox work using this suggestion. Its a great tool and a lot faster than VPNs.

but no irish tv sites work for me?? can anyone help?

One thing about aertv.ie. If your ISP uses a 'transparent proxy' then the DNS Settings won't work as the ISP overrides them with their own DNS servers. So you still be geo-blocked.

yes.. i have used this.. thanks very much for sending it to me. it works for these two channels but it is tv3 that i would love to get working.

i dont know if its because im using windows 7 and not ubuntu. Or if the link DMW has in the zip file explaining how to use this is transparent ISP . I would love to be able to stream from aer.tv

    Any ideas?
