On my Windows XP Machine it works fine.
On Vista System ( 2 PCs ) not connecting.
All Firewalls disabled.
Is there no one out there with some help?
Maybe its an Vista Problem in registry.

Good question but it's hard to find out what the problem is with Vista then Anyone with Vista who installed or fixed it succesfully?

Yep, just installed the update without even removing anything of the old version, and it's working as it should on Vista , so I don't know if that's the problem .

I just updated to the new version also of TV Ants and seems to be okay. I'm running the latest Vista OS.

I don't see how it has anything to do with newer version.
I only started using TVants last Sunday.
Installed the .59(?) version.
Last night I went to the program in order to access Setanta sports again and got the message that I needed an updated version.
So I reinstall over the top and still nothing.
So I tried the TOR solution.
Voila...it works, albeit with a time lag whilst it searches
for a server I guess.
If TOR works by hiding my IP addy, then does it not stand to reason that TVAnts blocks you after you have been on a few times.?
Is there any definitive reading on this matter, or is everyone working by trial and error.
If one has to find a working proxy addy each day with a relevant password, then isn't this indicative of the fact that TVAnts is preventing us access through IP addy.
Now, I am also a bit uncomfortable using TOR as I see NSA Fort Meade come up in the logs.
I don't want agents surrounding my house in a few hrs.
Pros and cons please.

I have just installed the latest version, and now the channels wont load anymore. I waited like 10 minutes now, but it reamains the same...

In the channel list it says "running" but no progress bar etc

edit: somehow the attachment dont work, i'll upload it now somewhere else and post it via the url

i'm new here...i'm sorry if anyone have told about this before..
i've the same problem with my tvants that have expired.
then i tried to change the date on my computer to the year before (in this case 2008), then i open the program and it works.

so, everyone should try this...it's easy!! but sorry if it's not working for you.Enjoy.

I can just download Stream Torrent instead of tvants? They are identical?

Not identical, but sometimes using the same sources, check out both and see what you like the most. Or just use both when needed.
