20.00 h CET El Clásico preview

The last round of La Liga football is not over, but it's never too early to discuss about the clash of the biggest Spanish teams, and maybe the two best teams in the world at this moment. Both clubs won their respective games, Real Madrid at Gijón by 3-0, and FC Barcelona at home 5-0 against #4 club Levante. The latter was the first show of a sharp and determined Blaugrana team for some weeks. I still expect one of the most open Clásicos for years, and hope that Mourinho will start with more than 2 offensive players and that he will save us from playing the notorious Pepe as anti creative force in midfield. Any result is possible, but I am much more confident of another fine Barça performance and a win than I was in the last months.

    Last league results:

    2-0 (Oct 2006)
    4-1 (May 2008)
    2-6 (May 2009)
    0-2 (April 2010)
    1-1 (April 2011)

    Enjoy - disfruta - gaudeix!

    Can't wait, hope Pep goes for a 4-3-3 and not a 3-4-3.

    ......Villa Messi Sanchez
    ..........Xavi Iniesta
    ...........Busquets
    Abidal Pique Puyol Alves
    .............Valdes

    Bring Fabregas and Pedro on.
Really hope Barca show us the goods next week, going for a 2-0 victory. Messi and Inietsta.

yeah I would feel more comfortable with this line up, too.
I just hope for a clean match and a good referee though I doubt both things very much... I expect another night full of polemics tbh.
I´m just sick of this great classic to be everything but a football match since Mou got those 5 goals endoused in the Camp Nou.

I'm already massivly looking forward to the game and hope it won't be destroyed by certain things we've seen in the past.

Fabregas is playing for sure, don't doubt it, I see VV, Alves, Pique, Masch, Abidal, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Cesc, Messi and another one (would be Villa or Alexis) with those in bold moving the ball away from the pigs who will run and run after the ball until they fall.

    We'll surely do.
Nice to see that Fergie doesn't have to worry about a strategy to crack Barca's passing system this season
(Serious: it's a pity that ManU is out of the last 16)
