    Default Media Player

    Hi folks,

    I'm thinking of buying an external mediaplayer which I can connect to my rooter and use to watch online streaming straight to my PC without needing my Laptop.

    There are a lot of mediaplayers available but they can either only play local content or are fixed to only specific web content like Youtube but not browse to other websites.

    Hopefully someone can recommend something.

    My old XBOX can do this using XBMC and play all the RTMP(flash) streams kicking about and more...
    Say NO to Ads on streams & Stop the Virus/Malware Alerts.

    If ever a password is needed in any of my or other users uploads try myp2p, Myp2p or wiziwig.

    Was going to suggest an Acer Revo but they seem to of shot up in price since i last looked at them, could of grabbed one for under £100 without an operating system last year.

    your old xbox don't support HD, tho
