I'll guide you through this, even though I didn't understand question
    in first post.

    1.Load your channel,and make sure it's public.
    2. Go to TVU networks | Welcome and click "Watch TV"
    3. Locate your channel, and load it.
    4. When loaded click "Stop"..

Now your still able to use your shoutbox, and if you turn your channel/broadcast
offline it will still stay visible in the player

Release note for TVUPlayer version "v2.4.5beta3[build1598]"

    NEW FEATURES:
    =============
    - Early version of the coming PVR (Personal Video Recorder) feature; allows you to pause,
rewind, fast forward, etc. the TV you're watching. To enable the PVR functionality,
you need to create a TVU account (if you don't already have one) and sign up to be a PVR
subscriber (this is free for now, though we intend to charge for the PVR sometime in the
    future).
    - Other small user interface improvements, such as button mouse-overs

    Default New version 2.4.5.3

I'm very disapointed. I try this new version, the installation process look to be normal but when the program is open Windows Vista show the same error message as in with version 2.4.5.1, "TVU Player stop to working, trying to find a solution...bla bla bla....". I send several messages to report the bug to the TVUNetworks but all messages return back with delivery error messsage.
    Sorry by the english.
    Return back to version 2.3.7.1.
