Cheers mate yer Ad Muncher is great i use it too off the freebie i posted not long back...

But i decided to go on a mission after posts like these HERE and HERE and i came across AdFender and i can say its great after testing on another computer...

AdBlock is much better on Chrome - Adfender is great for firefox.
*Tests done on a U-stream private broadcast last weekend, with 20 people doing independent tests. Sorry - I don't know any one daft enough to use IE, to test either programme on that browser!

U-stream ads are very aggressive - positive results on chrome and firefox, using what I said!

Just a little note/tip twiggster mate people who download any Ad Blocking software just expect it work, but from experience a little tinkering(custom filters etc..) gets it optimized much better.

Also people using Chrome based browsers get confused on what Ad Blocking Plug-in they are using for example...

Notice that both look very similar but of the 2 i find AdBlock is more stable and reliable...

ABP needed no tinkering, except to whitelist a couple of ads I want on a certain messageboard. It's the dog's cojones on Comodo!

I tried everything to get Adfender to work on Comodo, but it didn't even register the sites I wanted to block ads from. Never blocked a single ad from anywhere and yes I did "tinker" with options. Yes, I did install the version for Chrome, LOL!
However, those testing adfender on Firefox just installed it with no tinkering and it worked brilliantly!

HMM - just updated to the new AdFender and it is working GREAT on Comodo. It has no conflicts with my previously installed AdBlock and I've not seen an ad for 2 days anywhere now!
What one misses the other one gets, in tests I've done.

I would just like to make aware. There is an add-on for "ad block plus" called easy list. Easy list updates 24/7 to block new forms of advertisement. They also have a forum where you can make suggestions.

Over the previous 2 months I have worked with Easy List to block any ad's placed by flash servers.

Please contact me if your flash server has ad's which need blocking. I will have it taken care of.

Ad Fender updates automatically, sometimes a pain as it slows my start up down, when it updates - not sure about AdBlock Plus...I run them both all the time tho and no ads anywhere!
